Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Riverside Panorama Suite Spectacular City Living,” I rolled my eyes a bit. It sounds like someone threw every appealing hotel word into a blender, you know? But actually staying here on Brown Street completely changed my mind, and now I get why they went all out with the name.
The thing about East Perth is that it’s having this moment right now – it’s not quite the CBD chaos, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from the city center. What really got me was stepping into the suite and seeing why they called it “panorama.” The windows are massive, and depending on which way you’re facing, you’re either looking out at the Swan River (which honestly looks pretty spectacular at sunset) or getting this sweeping view of the Perth skyline. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of 4-star places, but this felt more like borrowing someone’s really nice apartment than being stuck in a hotel room. The kitchen actually has proper appliances – not those tiny bar fridges that can barely hold a bottle of wine – and the living area is spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re eating takeout on your bed.
Here’s what I really appreciated: the neighborhood vibe. Brown Street itself is pretty quiet, especially at night, which is perfect if you’re sensitive to noise like I am. But walk two blocks toward the city and you hit all the good stuff – decent coffee shops, that whole Northbridge scene if you’re into nightlife, and the train station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about airport transfers. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in Perth will tell you is not always a given. The front desk staff seemed to actually know the area well – they pointed me toward this little Vietnamese place on James Street that I never would have found otherwise. What struck me most was how the place manages to feel both polished and lived-in. The furnishings are modern without being cold, and there’s enough space that you can actually unpack and settle in for a few days without feeling cramped. I stayed during winter (which in Perth means it’s still pretty nice), and the heating worked perfectly, the water pressure was solid, and the Wi-Fi didn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places I’ve been.
The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises. You’re getting proper suite living with those panoramic views, you’re in a neighborhood that feels authentic rather than touristy, and the whole experience feels more personal than your typical hotel stay. If you’re the type who likes having space to spread out and wants to feel like you’re actually living in Perth for a few days rather than just visiting, this place hits the mark. Just don’t let the over-the-top name fool you into thinking it’s all flash and no substance.

Guest Reviews
Great location, immediately felt at home in the property. We’ll be back, and recommending it to oth.
The property was beautifully presented and clean, and the property managers have provided so many extras eg books, games for kids etc. Felt so homely. We could have stayed a month! We’re definitely going to be back.
What could be improved: A couple of minor maintenance issues which I have communicated to the property managers and the cleaners who have assured me they’ll be fixed.
Enjoyed our stay as the location was easily accessible to free transport.
Location.
What could be improved: Climb stairs
Fabulous location near the river and a really lovely waterside cafe.
Spacious and comfortable. Two bathrooms was great and we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely too.
Good location with spacious interiors.
Good location with walking distance to the water.
What could be improved: The 80s look and we have to carry our luggage to the third floor.
Fantastic location and apartment.
Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, we had a hectic schedule so didn’t get to enjoy the apartments full advantages. Cute balconies x
What could be improved: Nothing, only one set of keys was a juggle but all workable with the lockbox.
Very good
Good location, great facility’s.
Good air conditioning.
What could be improved: The apartment had a musty smell
The stair well smelt really bad, like rotten fish or meat.
Excellent location, good communication, did not like the SuperbSuite additional processes
Location is fantastic, easy walk to supermarket and the free city bus service, lovely walks along the river. We had an issue with the shower, property manager communicated with us quickly and efficiently to get plumbers in who fixed the problem.
What could be improved: The property uses a program/platform (SuperbSuites) that is separate to Booking.com, it requires identification check and credit card details beforehand. It also tried to charge us an additional accommodation cost after our visit which I refused to pay as it was based on a higher daily rate than what I had been given (and paid) when booking the apartment through Booking.com. Apartment and communication with property manager was great but the SuperbSuites processes that must be used to check-in did detract from the experience.
Excellent stay.
Everything was really good.
What could be improved: Just be aware it is the top floor so a few stairs to get inside. Not an issue for us.
Superb
Location, size, facilities, parking.
What could be improved: Stairs
Our stay was wonderful, with everything being just perfect.
Excellent! The apartment was immaculate, spacious, and fully equipped with a kitchen set, sofa, TV, dining area, refrigerator, washing machine, and private parking.
Located in an excellent area, the property was well-decorated, cozy, clean, roomy, and offered great value for money—perfect for a stay with family and friends.
