Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Equitice Autumn Moonlight Villa on Shepperton Road, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but this four-star property immediately won me over. The villa sits in a quiet residential pocket of Perth, and you know what struck me first? The fact that there’s actually decent parking right on site, which anyone who’s driven around Perth will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but definitely makes you feel like you’ve found something special.
Location and Neighborhood
Shepperton Road turned out to be one of those perfect locations that locals know about but tourists often miss. You’re close enough to the city center that getting around is easy, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos of the main tourist strips. I mean, couples clearly get this — the feedback I’ve heard consistently mentions how ideal this spot is for romantic getaways. The neighborhood has that lived-in Perth charm, with tree-lined streets and the kind of cafes where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over traffic.
The Room Experience
The room itself surprised me with how thoughtfully designed everything was. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but there’s this attention to detail that you notice gradually — the way the lighting works in the evening, how the windows frame the view just right. The space feels more like staying in a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel, which I think is exactly what they’re going for with the villa concept. Everything you need is there, but it doesn’t feel cluttered or corporate.
Amenities and Activities
What I really appreciated was the fitness setup they have — nothing fancy, but actually functional equipment that you’d want to use. It’s one of those places where the amenities feel genuine rather than just checking boxes on a list. The staff seemed to understand that sometimes you want to work out without having to trek across the city to find a decent gym. Plus, having everything on-site means you can easily fit a workout into your day without it becoming this whole production.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, I think what makes this place work so well is that perfect 10 rating for location — and after staying there, I totally get it. It’s not about being in the flashiest area or having the most Instagram-worthy lobby. Instead, it’s about finding that sweet spot where you feel connected to Perth without being overwhelmed by it. The villa manages to give you space to breathe while keeping you close to what matters. For couples especially, there’s something really appealing about having your own little retreat that still puts you right where you want to be in the city.

Guest Reviews
Jenny was an exceptional host, never felt so at home being first time to Perth. She checks in every now and then to ensu
Space was huge, clean, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Location was spot on, within walking distance to supermarkets and lots of restaurants and cafe. Huge garage space to park rental car, and distance is in the middle to everywhere. 10mins away from CBD
What could be improved: Wish I could have stayed longer! The place was lovely
Awesome place
Jenny is such a hospitable host and the apartment is very clean and has everything we need! The kids Iove coming back to the apartment to rest and play.
We really enjoyed our stay here and will highly recommend this place for stay again!
Exceptional
This was a last minute emergency stay and it was perfect.
Loved everything about this place. Thoughtful touches like the water bottles and water dispenser on the top floor. Clean, super comfortable, well equipped and well located.
We experienced incredible stay in Perth..
The host (Jenny) is super friendly. She herself greeted us when we arrived while giving us Xmas gift of 1 bottle of wine. Also milk for my kids...Oh my! What a warm welcome... We feel like we're friends since long. Thank you for the hospitality Jenny!
Overall, this was one of the best stays we had so far when traveling.
Jenny's unit is so amazing...very tidy, clean, well equipped, spacious. We feel like home!
All the rooms were big, comfortable. There's place for tea time where we can relax and chit chat with our fam and friends.
There's also moon lamp in the backyard that signifies the name of the unit. So beautiful..!
Not to mention the location is so strategic, just few minutes from down town. And what we do like the most was that it's only 2 mins walk from Woolsworth (our favourite supermarket..haha).
Everywhere is close... We enjoyed morning walk to the park around the apartment.
In short, we have super amazing trip staying in this Moonlite house....
What could be improved: Hopefully Jenny will give more affordable price in our next stay..haha...
