Overview
You know what struck me first about Quest on Rheola? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that feels worlds apart from the hustle of Perth’s CBD, even though you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the heart of everything. I mean, Rheola Street is one of those tree-lined West Perth roads where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic – which is honestly rare for a city hotel. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me,” but once you’re inside, you realize they’ve put serious thought into every detail.
The thing about Quest properties is they’re designed for people who actually need to live somewhere for more than just a night or two, and this one nails that brief perfectly. The apartments – because that’s really what they are – have proper kitchens with full-sized fridges and decent cookware (not those sad hotel kettles and two mismatched mugs). I found myself making coffee there most mornings instead of hunting down a café, though honestly, you’re spoiled for choice in West Perth anyway. The living areas feel genuinely livable, with sofas you’d actually want to sink into after a long day exploring the city. What really impressed me was the laundry setup – and I know that sounds boring, but when you’re staying somewhere for a week, having a proper washer and dryer in your room is basically priceless.
The location is where this place really shines, though you might not realize it immediately. Sure, you’re close to Kings Park (which everyone mentions), but what locals know is that you’re also perfectly positioned for those early morning runs along the river – just head down Thomas Street and you’re at the foreshore in five minutes. The neighbourhood has this great mix of converted heritage buildings and modern apartments, so there’s always something interesting to look at during your evening walks. Parking was surprisingly painless – they’ve got secure underground spots, which in West Perth is actually a big deal. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’ll be honest, the Wi-Fi could be faster, and the air conditioning in the bedroom runs a bit loud, but those are minor gripes when everything else works so well. For the price point and that 8.5 rating, it actually delivers on what it promises – a proper home base that doesn’t feel like you’re camping out in someone else’s space.

Guest Reviews
Exceptional
Very clean. The appartments had everything we needed.
Exceptional
Great location to where we wanted to go.
What could be improved: All good
A great stay for our family including toddler.
Very clean and accessible to all activities around the city. It was a great stay and would definitely stay again.
What could be improved: N/A
Very nice apartment in a great location - would definitely stay again
Location, facilities, balcony, range of TV channels
What could be improved: Shower head kept sliding down to the bottom of the rail and water intermittently went cold
Great self contained accommodation.
Well appointed and clean. Staff all very friendly. Bit of a walk to restaurants and shops but easy to get rideshare if you don't have a car. We checked out on Sunday and had a late flight. , but had to collect bags by 3pm, which wasnt suitable for our plans.. They offered us to take luggage to another quest to store and collect later ( although we arranged another option) so they did try to assist us. Something to keep in mind if you have a late flight.
Great Property- Good Location and Good Facilities.
Great apartments, good location and very clean.
Perfect all rounder
Great location, easy parking and access, well furnished with everything you need. The staff were excellent and very welcoming.
Exceptional
Everything
What could be improved: The sink in the bathroom was blocked.
Very clean place to stay, nice staff, all amenities you need in the apartment. Would stay again.
Apartment was very clean, had all the things you need to stay, lovely MOR toiletries, cooking utensils etc. washing machine and clothes racks to hang clothes on, which was great as I don’t like using dryers. As there were four of us good that it had two racks etc so everyone’s washing fit on.
What could be improved: Only thing I would say is our apartment only had one two seater lounge chair, unlike the pictures that had two… we had to sit on dining chairs to all watch TV. If you have late check out make sure your key cards are changed as they stop working at 10am and I couldn’t use the lift…
Overall, very good.
One bedroom apartment was spacious
What could be improved: On a main road, loads of traffic
