Overview

First Impressions

When I first spotted 1bdr Parking On Beaufort Street, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly scream boutique charm, but don’t let that fool you. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of Perth‘s Mount Lawley district, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building itself is modern without being flashy, and there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on what actually matters to travelers rather than trying to impress with fancy lobbying.

The Beaufort Street Advantage

You know what really struck me about staying here? Beaufort Street is basically Perth’s answer to a proper neighborhood strip — the kind where locals actually hang out. Within a five-minute walk, you’ve got some seriously good coffee spots, casual dining that doesn’t break the bank, and those little independent shops that make exploring on foot actually worthwhile. I mean, you’re close enough to the city center when you need it, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds every time you step outside.

The Space Itself

The one-bedroom setup is exactly what it promises — no surprises, but executed really well. The room feels properly sized (not like those cramped hotel boxes), and the kitchen is actually functional if you want to grab groceries and cook something simple. What I appreciated most was the attention to practical details — good lighting, enough power outlets where you need them, and storage that makes sense for travelers with more than just a carry-on bag.

The Parking Situation

Here’s where this place really shines, and why couples seem to love it so much — the free private parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to find street parking in Perth’s inner suburbs, you’ll understand why this is such a big deal. No circling blocks, no feeding meters, no stress about whether your car will still be there in the morning. It’s one of those simple things that just makes your entire stay more relaxed, especially if you’re planning day trips out to the Swan Valley or down to Fremantle.

Why Guests Love It

The 10.0 location rating from recent guests isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s genuinely well-positioned for people who want to experience Perth like locals do. You’re not stuck in the CBD tourist bubble, but you’re not stranded in the suburbs either. The fact that couples rate it so highly tells you something about the vibe — it’s peaceful enough for a romantic getaway but connected enough that you won’t feel isolated. Plus, with an overall rating of 8 out of 10, guests clearly appreciate the straightforward approach: clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for what you get in this part of town.

Great stay in an excellent location.

Fantastic well appointed apartment in an amazing location. Supplies were excellent for an extended stay and everything was well thought out for the guest. Definitely value for money. Wifi was excellent and the apartment was nice and bright. Overall we had a great stay with a few minor hiccups.

What could be improved: Meet and greet could be problematic and they charge after 5pm. Only received one key for two people so this was difficult when we went separate ways as there was nowhere to leave a key for the other person.
