During the day, you’ve got that gorgeous river view from most rooms, and in the evening, the city lights reflect off the water in this really lovely way. The whole setup works whether you’re here for business or just exploring Perth – I mean, you can walk to the cultural precinct, hit up the restaurants on Murray Street, or just grab coffee at one of those little places tucked away in the laneways. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top fancy, but everything just works really well. The Wi-Fi is solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and honestly, the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the pillows all night.
