You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this little townhouse on Carr Place – honestly, the street’s pretty quiet and residential, nothing flashy about it. But stepping inside this place completely changed my tune. The Best Location Leederville Townhouse is one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, and with a 9.8 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so.
The location really is brilliant (and I mean that genuinely, not just because it’s in the name). You’re literally a two-minute walk from Oxford Street, which is Leederville’s main strip with all the cafes, bars, and that great little cinema. I actually walked to Must Winebar one evening and toEsias for breakfast the next morning – no Uber needed. The trainline to the city is right there too, so you can be in Perth CBD in about ten minutes if you need to venture further. What I loved most though was coming back in the evenings to this peaceful residential pocket where you can actually hear yourself think, unlike some of the noisier hotel strips.
The townhouse itself feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-appointed place than a typical hotel room. Everything’s thoughtfully done – proper kitchen with decent appliances (not those tiny hotel fridges that barely fit a water bottle), comfortable living spaces where you can actually spread out, and the bedrooms are genuinely restful. The whole setup works perfectly whether you’re here for business or just exploring Perth. I mean, having your own space to make morning coffee and store leftovers from Leederville’s restaurant scene? That’s worth its weight in gold. The parking situation is sorted too, which anyone who’s driven around inner Perth will appreciate – no circling blocks looking for a spot or feeding parking meters every few hours. It’s that kind of practical comfort that makes a 4-star place feel like home, and honestly, after staying here, I can’t imagine choosing a cramped hotel room over this kind of setup when I’m back in Perth.

Fabulous
This house is great. It is in such a perfect location for a walk at Lake Monger, outdoor cinema, bars, restaurants, shops and a 24/7 supermarket. Access to public transport is easy and the public library and outdoor pool at Beatty Park are within walking distance.
The accommodation was homely and spacious. We were able to relax, cook, do our laundry, sit outside under the canopy and park the car in a garage attached to the property.
