Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “304 Superior 1br Big Beautiful For 2,” I thought it sounded like someone’s rushed Airbnb listing. But you know what? Sometimes the places with awkward names turn out to be the real gems, and this spot on Victoria Avenue is exactly that kind of surprise.
The thing about staying in Perth CBD is that location really makes or breaks your trip, and this place gets it right. Victoria Avenue isn’t one of those main drags where you’re dodging crowds and dealing with street noise at all hours – it’s actually tucked into this quieter pocket of the city center where you can still walk to everything but actually get some sleep. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute stroll from the shopping on Murray Street, but when you’re back in the apartment at night, it feels surprisingly peaceful. The building itself has that solid, well-maintained feel – not flashy, but you know it’s been looked after properly.
What really sold me on this place was stepping into the actual apartment. The “big beautiful” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff – this is genuinely spacious for a one-bedroom in the CBD. The living area has enough room to actually spread out (rare in city apartments, honestly), and the bedroom doesn’t feel like an afterthought squeezed into whatever space was left over. The kitchen’s properly equipped too – I’m talking real cooking equipment, not just a hot plate and a prayer. There’s this lovely natural light that comes through in the afternoon, and the whole space has been furnished with actual thought, not just whatever was cheapest at the furniture warehouse.
Here’s the thing that really impressed me though – the little details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The shower has proper water pressure (you’d be amazed how often this is a problem), there’s decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the bed is genuinely comfortable. I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places that phone it in on the basics, but this spot gets them right. The check-in process was smooth – no standing around in a lobby for twenty minutes while they figure out where your reservation went.
Perth can be tricky for first-time visitors because the city center is more compact than you’d expect, and honestly, a lot of the hotels are either way too expensive or stuck in some dead zone where you need a car for everything. This place hits that sweet spot where you’re actually in the thick of things but not paying resort prices for the privilege. The 8.5 rating makes sense when you stay here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what it promises and then some. If you want somewhere that feels like a proper home base rather than just a place to crash, this is worth considering.

Guest Reviews
Lovely relaxing stay, the location was great.
Very spacious room with a separate bedroom, lovely balcony to sit on. The bed was very comfortable.
What could be improved: The apartment is really spacious, however it is coming up due for an upgrade.
Beautiful and spacious homestay, walking distance to the tourist attractions and nearby bus stops.
Stay here for 2 people. Very spacious with complete facilities. Living room and kitchen area are big. And the bedroom is separated. Love that it has balcony and it gives the whole unit natural lighting during the day.
What could be improved: Doesnt have dryer machines. But the owner provided clothes rack and fan for indoor drying at night is good enough for me.
Great location. Very nice apartment.
Superb location - a 15 minute walk to The Barracks Jetty. Clean, comfortable and tidy. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Also, very close to various shops, cafes. restaurants, malls, parking and bus stops. The apartment was well equipped and was ideal for our stay.
What could be improved: While it's a minor issue that is easily fixed, the flush button on the toilet got stuck sometimes which meant the water continued to run. No biggie, we just push the button again and it worked.
Relaxing, convenient and clean.
Great space, so easy to check in as well. Excellent value for money.
What could be improved: It’s very bright will all the lights from front door and outside. Could benefit from blackout curtains.
Some additionally providing of more towels etc would have been appreciated.
Overall stay is comfortable.
The property is of a good size.
It’s convenient to get to Perth City shopping Mall & the CBD.
What could be improved: Didn’t get to use the electric kettle as it is rusty inside.
Comfortable and nice and central
It was central a well equip
What could be improved: The kitchen and bathroom was a bit dated, blinds were worn and carpets were stained
Very pleasant stay, would book again
Large rooms, good facilities
What could be improved: Bedroom next to balcony/road . No natural light in other rooms. No Netflix on lounge tv only bedroom
The apartment met our needs and was close to the centre of the city along with the river.
Loved the location, there was a bit of street noise but that comes with the location.
It was comfortable and clean. The apartment had everything we needed.
What could be improved: The tap in the bathroom sink might need the washer replaced as it dripped unless turned off very tightly.
The lighting in the lounge area was a bit dim.
Enjoyable stay and great location.
The location was excellent - close to shops, eateries, and other venues.
What could be improved: Initially the remote didn't work for the tv in bedroom. The batteries appeared very corroded.
The remote control for the air conditioner/heater was also dodgy. To operate it effectively, I had to open the back of the remote and apply pressure to the batteries, to enable it to work.
Very nice stay
The location is great, the apartment provides all basic needs.
What could be improved: The fridge could have been a little bigger.
