Overview
You know what hit me first when I walked into this Perth apartment? The light. I mean, Australian light is something else entirely, but this place actually captures it perfectly – these big windows that let the morning sun just pour in without making you feel like you’re living in a fishbowl. The owner clearly knew what they were doing when they set this up, because honestly, most one-bedroom places in Perth feel either cramped or sterile, but this one strikes that sweet spot where you can actually spread out and relax.
The location is what really sells it though. You’re right in the heart of 6000 (that’s the CBD postcode for anyone not familiar), which means you can walk to pretty much everything worth doing. I’m talking about being able to stroll down to Elizabeth Quay in about ten minutes, or hitting up the bars on King Street without worrying about parking – and trust me, parking in Perth can be a nightmare, especially during business hours. The apartment itself sits on a quieter street, so you don’t get the constant traffic noise, but step out the front door and you’re immediately connected to the energy of the city. There’s this great little café two blocks over that does proper flat whites (none of that tourist trap stuff), and the IGA nearby is surprisingly well-stocked for late-night snack runs.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail – the bed is actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places cheap out on this), the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook instead of eating out every night, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t drop out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with decent water pressure and a shower that doesn’t flood the entire floor. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The only minor gripe I had was that the air conditioning unit is a bit loud when it first kicks in, but it settles down quickly and keeps the place cool during those brutal Perth summers. With a 9.3 rating, this place clearly knows how to keep guests happy – and after staying here, I get why people keep coming back.

Really well presented and great communication
Great location
Great little space for our adventure
Pleasant stay that met our needs for medical appts. Train station just across road very handy.
Great location close to railway station. Cozy and very clean. Good kitchen facilities. Safe car parking.
It's a pity because it really was a nice apartment.
Beautifully appointed apartment that had everything I needed and in pristine condition. It conveniently had a washing machine AND detergent so I could catch up on my travel washing. Fully appointed kitchen. Lovely furnishings. Secure parking. Good location - can walk to the city from there.
What could be improved: As soon as I booked I was bombarded by emails threatening that my booking would be cancelled within 24 hours if I didn't verify myself through their app, giving away all my personal data and forcing me to pay a $50 insurance fee. I held off for more than a week as I wanted to back out of the booking but was also up for 100% of the rent if I cancelled, so I was hoping they would cancel. In the end I relented as I needed a place to say. Felt a bit scammed. Wouldn't have been surprised if I had turned up at the place and there was no place.
