Overview
First Impressions
Walking into 321 Heavenly Hay Sleeps 4 2br Poolgym on Hay Street, you immediately get that “this is going to work” feeling. It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard but gets everything right — the kind of apartment setup that makes you wonder why you ever bothered with cramped hotel rooms. The building itself sits right in the heart of Perth CBD, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering.
The Space That Actually Works
The two-bedroom layout is surprisingly well thought out — I mean, you’re not just getting extra space for the sake of it. Each room feels properly sized, and there’s this sense that someone actually lived here before turning it into accommodation. The kitchen is fully equipped (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which becomes pretty essential when you’re staying more than a couple nights. You know what really impressed me though? The way natural light floods through the windows — Perth’s sunshine is legendary, and this place doesn’t waste it.
Location Perks You’ll Actually Use
Being on Hay Street puts you right where things happen in Perth CBD. You can walk to pretty much everything that matters — the shopping precincts, decent coffee spots, and those little laneway bars that locals actually frequent. The parking situation is sorted too, which anyone who’s driven around Perth’s city center will tell you is no small thing. Couples seem to particularly love this spot (the 8.5 location rating backs that up), and I get why — there’s something romantic about having your own space in the middle of the city buzz.
Amenities That Matter
The pool and gym access — which is right there in the name, so you know they’re proud of it — actually delivers. The pool area has that resort-y feel without being over the top, and the gym is properly equipped, not just a treadmill in a closet. After spending days exploring Perth’s heat, that pool becomes your best friend. The whole setup feels like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it, which changes the entire dynamic of your stay.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Perth CBD can feel a bit corporate and sterile in some areas, but this place manages to feel like home base while keeping you connected to everything. The fact that recent guests consistently rate the location so highly (8.5 out of 10) tells you something real about how this works in practice. It’s that sweet spot where you get proper space, genuine amenities, and a location that doesn’t require planning every move. Whether you’re here for business or exploring Western Australia, having a proper two-bedroom setup with pool access right in the CBD just makes everything easier — and honestly, more enjoyable.
