Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about The Sea Breeze Apartment – the name pretty much says it all, and honestly, they weren’t kidding about those ocean views. I mean, when you’re on the top floor looking out at the Indian Ocean from Scarborough, you’re getting the real deal here, not some glimpse between buildings that some places try to pass off as “ocean views.”
The thing about staying right in Scarborough is that you’re basically living like a local for a few days. You can walk down to the beach in your flip-flops (and trust me, you’ll want to – that sand is incredible), but you’re also close enough to those little cafes along the esplanade that you’ll probably become a regular by day three. The apartment itself feels more like… well, an actual apartment than a hotel room, which I know sounds obvious, but there’s something refreshing about having real space to spread out. The kitchen’s properly equipped too – not just a mini-fridge and a kettle situation – so you can actually cook if you want to save some money or just feel like having breakfast while watching the sunrise over the water. And honestly, those sunrises are worth setting an alarm for at least once.
What really got me was how quiet it stays up there, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. Scarborough can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when everyone’s hitting the beach or the bars along West Coast Highway, but being on the top floor means you get the energy of the area without the street noise keeping you up. The 7.9 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but it delivers exactly what it promises. You know what I appreciated most? The little details, like actually good water pressure in the shower and blackout curtains that properly block the light (because that morning sun is intense). Plus, parking’s sorted, which anyone who’s driven around Scarborough on a busy day will tell you is no small thing. If you’re looking for a place where you can wake up to proper ocean views, walk to decent coffee, and still have space to actually relax, this hits the mark without trying too hard.

Guest Reviews
Great location with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Apartment interior is dated.
The property's location is EXCELLENT and it feels very safe. The view is just so beautiful and the best feature of the apartment. The host/property manager was very helpful, always responsive and very keen to help when we forgot one of our bags behind. The secure garage was also a huge benefit (especially given the car was shaded from the hot Perth sun).
What could be improved: The apartment has a 'dated' feel and would benefit from a makeover. There are a few issues with the plumbing and the cleanliness could certainly be improved.
Very good
Location
Nice apartment
What could be improved: Shame about the pool
Lighting a bit dull
Good
Great Location
What could be improved: Apartment is very dated and in need of some TLC. Cobwebs with white tail spiders, tempermental coffee machine, shower could do with a good scrub, cupboard doors in main bedroom not on rails, and skylight in 2nd room definitely needs to be covered. Disappointed the heated pool was unavailable as this was one of the main reasons of booking the apartment. Sea and pool water in WA was extremely cold (colder than Vic).
Great spot and we'll be back, but hopefully not when the weather is gale force winds.
What could be improved: The wind blowing through the window & door drafts.
Good
Being so close to the beach
What could be improved: The lift was not working for our entire stay. And we were on the top floor
Superb
Location
What could be improved: Needs ceiling fans in the bedrooms and wire security doors to main
bedroom and living area
Perfect location
We loved the location. The apartment was very clean. It had a lovely pool.
What could be improved: The TV was very small. Management not located onsite is a slight inconvenience. The range hood desperately needed replacing.
Superb
Location was excellent
What could be improved: The bathroom tap needs to be replaced or fixed
Very good
Location was excellent. Beautiful view
What could be improved: The fan/ vent noise that was on from early morning to late in the evening.
We couldn't control it.
Excellent. The stunning views and sounds of waves crashing perfect. Perfect distance from the main hub and noise of the
Perfect ocean views. Underground parking, lift, swimming pool, fully equipped two bed apartment. Two toilets and one being a fine en-suite sized bathroom. Main bedroom has fantastic ocean views and a big balcony with the same.
What could be improved: Not much.
