First Impressions
4 Cute Cunningham Close To Subiaco – Sleeps 4 caught my attention immediately — and honestly, the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. This four-star property sits in one of Perth’s most sought-after inner suburbs, and I can see why couples are giving it such high marks. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring Perth for a few days.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about Subiaco — it’s one of those neighborhoods where you can actually walk places, which is pretty rare in Perth. You’re close enough to the city center that getting around is easy, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with all the noise and chaos. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — free private spots on-site, which anyone who’s tried to park in Subiaco will tell you is basically gold. I mean, street parking around here can be a nightmare, especially on weekends when everyone’s hitting up the local cafes and shops.
The Space Itself
The apartment sleeps four comfortably, and they’ve clearly put thought into making the space work for different types of travelers. The kitchen is actually functional — not one of those token setups where you can barely boil water. You know what I appreciated? The little touches that show someone who actually travels designed this place. There’s proper counter space, decent cookware, and enough fridge space for more than just takeout containers. The room layout flows well too, so you’re not constantly bumping into each other if you’re traveling with friends or family.
What Sets It Apart
Recent guests have been rating the location at 8.4, and honestly, I get it. You’re walking distance from Rokeby Road, which has some genuinely good restaurant options — not just the usual chain stuff. The Subiaco Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is right there too, which is perfect if you want to grab fresh ingredients for that functional kitchen I mentioned. Plus, getting to Kings Park or the Swan River is straightforward from here, whether you’re driving or using public transport.
Why Guests Love It
The 7.2 rating reflects what you’d expect from a solid four-star property — everything works, it’s clean, and the location delivers. What really comes through in the feedback is that couples especially appreciate the setup here. There’s something about having your own space, your own kitchen, and reliable parking that just makes a trip feel more relaxed. It’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top — it’s just a well-executed base for exploring Perth and the surrounding areas. For the price point and location, you’re getting genuine value rather than paying for flashy amenities you probably won’t use anyway.

Clean, convenient but please buy a new double bed!!!!
Good location, comfortable living area.
What could be improved: The double bed was awful!! Very uncomfortable, very bouncy and creaky and kept us awake every night!! Please buy a new Ikea one!!!
Good
Iit was close to the Hollywood private hospital
What could be improved: Would have liked a spare blanket as i sleep cold
If the beds replaced and maybe a ceiling fan in bedroom for air flow it would have been a great stay
Location
What could be improved: The master bedroom was the most uncomfortble we have ever slept in.
Lumpy squeaky and we ended up having to sleep in the single beds.
