Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Seaside Bliss on Filburn Street, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard — the lobby has this relaxed coastal vibe that makes you want to kick off your shoes. The staff actually remembers your name after checking in, which honestly surprised me. You know what really caught my attention though? The way natural light floods through the windows, giving everything this warm, beachy glow that screams Scarborough without being cheesy about it.
Location & Getting Around
The location is genuinely fantastic — I mean, recent guests rated it 9.7 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re basically a stone’s throw from Scarborough Beach, which is perfect for morning walks or those sunset moments that make your Instagram followers jealous. The parking situation is actually stress-free (rare for Perth, let me tell you), with free private spots right on site. Couples seem to absolutely love this place for romantic getaways, and walking around the neighborhood, you can see why — it’s got that perfect mix of beachside charm and urban convenience.
The Room Experience
The room itself feels more like a well-designed apartment than a typical hotel space. Everything’s thoughtfully laid out, from the comfortable seating area to the modern bathroom that actually has decent water pressure. The windows frame views that remind you why people move to Western Australia in the first place. I particularly appreciated the little touches — quality linens, proper blackout curtains for sleeping in, and enough power outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using the coffee maker.
Amenities & Atmosphere
What sets this place apart is how it balances being polished without feeling stuffy. The common areas have this laid-back sophistication that works whether you’re here for business or pleasure. The restaurant serves food that’s actually worth eating (not always a given with hotel dining), with a menu that leans into fresh, local ingredients. Staff genuinely seem to enjoy working here, which creates this relaxed atmosphere where you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another booking number.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, it’s the combination of things that makes Seaside Bliss work so well. You get that beachside location without sacrificing comfort or convenience, plus service that feels personal rather than corporate. The 8.5 rating reflects what you experience — it’s consistently good without any major disappointments. Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend or just need a solid base for exploring Perth’s northern beaches, this place delivers on its promises. It’s one of those hotels where you actually look forward to coming back at the end of the day, which says everything you need to know.

What could be improved: Car parking space was a little awkward to park

House equipments and appliances are all in good condition and worked well.
What could be improved: Nothings seen did not liked.internet is good. Just maintain.
Perfectly suited our trip. Everything was clean and comfortable sand the location was awesome.
Comfortable, compact in a great location. Kitchen was set up well and the place was clean. The host was generous and all questions were immediately answered.
What could be improved: We had a family of 4 with 2 older teenagers. The apartment was compact and the bedrooms were squishy. Maybe in the hotter months it might be an issue that there is as no air-con in the bedrooms.
Great place, everything you need! Location, owner and facilities 10/10
Everything in very short walking distance, nice balcony with table and chairs, coffee machine with capsules, plenty of cups, plates, bowls etc. no issue with anything.
What could be improved: Car parking space is quite annoying to reverse into but okay if you have a normal size car. We were upgraded to a large 4x4 and took quit long to park each time. Not too bad though
This apartment is very stylish, modern, compact and comfortable, in an outstanding location!
The location was outstanding, only a very short walk to Scarborough Beach. The beach view from the balcony was beautiful, we often enjoyed meals there. Our host Jacques was very responsive and attentive to our needs, he was very accommodating and helpful which made our overall experience pleasant. The apartment was quite compact and comfortable, it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable.
What could be improved: When we arrived, the lifts weren’t working and we were staying on the top floor therefore if made it hard to carry our luggage and groceries up, this went on for the first few days and then it was fixed. The lights in the common area were also not working, making it hard to reach our apartment at night. This was also fixed after a few days. Jacques our host was very responsive and ensured he reported the matter to the building owner. He also responded promptly and ensured he followed up with these issues to make our stay as smooth as possible. There were no hand towels or in the apartment when we arrived, however Jacques went above and beyond and drove over to bring some over to us. Again, he was very responsive and helpful. He was also flexible with our check in and check out times, as we had early and late flights. This ensured we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay overall.
Great location, cosy apartment.
Location was awesome and the facilities were great
What could be improved: No fan in bedrooms
