You know what struck me first about this place? The name actually makes sense – it really is tranquil, which is honestly rare when you’re talking about Wellington Street. I mean, you’re right in the thick of West Perth, but somehow apartment 10 feels like it’s tucked away from all the usual city noise. Maybe it’s the way the building sits back from the street, or just lucky positioning, but I was genuinely surprised how quiet it was at night.

The two-bedroom setup works really well – I’ve stayed in plenty of places where they cram beds into spaces that clearly weren’t meant for them, but this feels properly planned out. The parking situation is what sold me initially (because let’s be real, finding a spot around Wellington Street during the day is basically a nightmare), and it delivers on that promise. You get an actual designated space, not some vague “street parking available” situation that leaves you circling blocks at 9 PM. The kitchen’s got everything you’d actually use, not just the bare minimum – I’m talking decent knife, cutting board that doesn’t slide around, coffee setup that doesn’t make you question your life choices. Small details, but they add up when you’re staying more than a night or two.

Location-wise, you’re walking distance to Leederville without the Leederville prices, which is honestly the sweet spot if you ask me. There’s something satisfying about being able to grab coffee on Oxford Street in the morning, then come back to your quiet space without dealing with the weekend crowds outside your window. The building itself has that solid, established feel – not the flashy new developments that look great in photos but have paper-thin walls. I could hear my neighbors occasionally, but it was more like gentle reminders that other humans exist rather than unwanted participation in their phone conversations. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “meet us at this random location with three forms of ID” dance that some rentals put you through. Actually, the whole experience felt more like borrowing a friend’s well-maintained place than staying somewhere commercial, which probably explains that 9-star rating. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but sometimes you just want a place that works exactly as advertised, with reliable WiFi and water pressure that doesn’t make you question Australian infrastructure.

Home away from Home!

Location - Walking distance to City West train stop, Scitech, Nostalgia Box Museum and even Watertown, if you are up for it.

Instructions to get the keys and getting around the apartment were clear and easy to understand. Checkout instructions were timely and helpful too.

Well-stocked apartment - oil, salt, pepper, detergent, soap, toiletries, enough towels provided.
Fully-functional kitchen.
Smart TV - needed assistance connecting but all good with Fhie's assistance.
Beautifully done up from entrance to the rooms. Home away from home-feels.

What could be improved: Toilet in the bedroom didn't flush well or at all.
We have to go thru the carpark gates to go thru instead of the sliding door entrance.
No lift, so, we had to lug our luggages up. I have three kids, 10, 11 and 20, so, I had the extra hands to help bring the luggages up and down. May not recommend if you have small kids and many luggage, prams, shopping bags.

Comfortable apartment, ideal for a group of 4 or 5 . Great location, clean and property adm was very responsive .

Beds were very comfortable, excellent location . Apartment was spacious and clean. Host was very responsive and helpful.

What could be improved: Wifi was not so good.
