Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Quest Scarborough, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I needed” feeling. It’s one of those four-and-a-half-star places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies, but instead focuses on getting the fundamentals absolutely right. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work, and honestly, that makes all the difference when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail becomes apparent in every interaction.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about Brighton Road — you’re actually in Scarborough, not some distant suburb pretending to be near the action. The beach is a genuine walk away, not one of those “walking distance” situations where you need hiking boots. Couples consistently rate this location highly (8.6 out of 10), and I can see why. You’ve got cafes, restaurants, and that proper beachside vibe without the chaos of staying right on the main strip. Plus, there’s private parking on-site, which anyone who’s circled Perth blocks looking for a spot will appreciate. The convenience of this location truly enhances the overall experience.
The Accommodation Experience
Quest Scarborough does that apartment-style setup really well — you know, where you get a proper kitchen and living space instead of just a bed and a tiny desk. The rooms feel like someone’s well-appointed flat rather than a generic hotel box. I mean, you can actually cook a decent meal if you want to, or just use the fridge for wine and leftovers like most people do. The layouts make sense, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without everything looking like a bomb went off. This thoughtful design transforms your stay into something more personal and comfortable.
The Scarborough Advantage
What really works about staying here is how it connects you to Perth’s beach culture without the tourist trap feeling. Scarborough has transformed over the past few years — the foreshore redevelopment brought in quality dining and entertainment options that locals actually use. You’re close enough to zip into Perth city when you need to, but far enough out that you can have that proper seaside holiday feeling. The Indian Ocean sunsets from this part of the coast are genuinely spectacular, and you don’t have to fight crowds to enjoy them.
Why Guests Love It
People keep coming back to Quest Scarborough because it strikes that sweet spot between independence and service. You get the space and flexibility of having your own place, but with housekeeping and someone to call if the wifi acts up. The location consistently gets high marks because it’s genuinely useful — close to the beach, decent restaurants within walking distance, and that parking situation sorted. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel like you’re living in Perth rather than just visiting it. This balance makes it an exceptional choice for discerning travelers.
Perth hotels keep guests close to Cottesloe surf breaks, Elizabeth Quay promenades, and ferry rides to Rottnest Island.

Guest Reviews
Very good
Clean and tidy
What could be improved: Road noise
Dated but location is great
Location. Was really worried about the bed as the trim part on the mattress joined together was really hard, but had really good sleeps. The curtains were terrific and really kept the early light out after travelling. Best I've ever experienced.
What could be improved: I thought it was really dated, given the price and additional cost of parking on top also. Weird that the guy checking in before us had cheaper parking for the same period stay.No real explanation of the facility, Even with the small negatives I'd stay again.
Overall great stay but recommend apartment not suite
The property is walking distance to everything which is great .
The rooms are clean and the staff are lovely and friendly
It is located at a busy intersection so road noise can be heard until 11pm then again at 6am .
The pillows and mattress of a king bed were not great so not good for your neck or back of you have issues with that.
Suitable for a short stay but recommend a 1 bedroom apartment if staying longer
What could be improved: Noise , pillows and mattresses
No pool towels, staff did give us extra towels on request
Superb
Great central location, close to beach
Very good
Great location, close to things I needed
What could be improved: Fresh and clean
Great place to stay, would highly recommend
The staff were excellent and the location was great with underground parking
What could be improved: Not for EMF sensitive people!!
Very good
Great location
Great location, safe, clean and comfortable
Great location
What could be improved: Nothing - it was great
OK
Clean
What could be improved: Only 2 small milks in the fridge and 1 water. There were 2 of us staying in the room. 2 milks min are required to have a coffee. No ice in the freezer, or available at reception. Other Quest accommodation have ice available. The Quest reception closed for lunch, very inconvenient!
Fun stay at Scarbs Jones
Home from Home iin an excellent location very close to the beach and hostelries and a supermarket at Scarborough Beach. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and our one bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. All staff were excellent - friendly and efficient. Will look to return here on our next Perth visit.
What could be improved: Certainly not show-stoppers, but....
Housekeeping to our room couldn't be predicted - I. e. which days it would happen although a
speedy response when Reception informed of any issues.
Furnishings were modern but not new by any means.
Underground parking is expensive, but spaces are not always available.
