Overview
You know what struck me first about Quest Kings Park? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch of Kings Park Road where you get the best of both worlds – close enough to the city that you can walk to the CBD in about fifteen minutes, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with traffic noise all night. I mean, Perth’s not exactly a 24/7 city anyway, but still.
The building itself has this modern apartment-style vibe that honestly works really well if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The rooms are spacious – like, actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious – with proper kitchenettes that you’ll actually want to use. I appreciated having a decent-sized fridge and a stovetop that didn’t look like it belonged in a dorm room. The beds are comfortable enough, though the pillows lean a bit on the firm side (just a heads up if you’re picky about that sort of thing). What really sold me was the balcony situation – most rooms have them, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one facing east, you get these glimpses of the Swan River through the trees.
Here’s the thing about the location that makes it special: you’re literally a two-minute walk from Kings Park, which honestly is half the reason to stay in Perth anyway. But more importantly, you’re in this sweet spot where you can stroll down to Subiaco for dinner – there’s this whole strip of restaurants and cafes along Rokeby Road that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The grocery situation is solid too; there’s a Coles just down the road on Hay Street, which comes in handy when you’ve got that kitchenette. Parking’s included, which in Perth might not seem like a big deal until you realize how much hotels in the city center charge for it. The front desk staff actually know the area well – they pointed me toward this little coffee spot on Railway Road that I never would have found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit holds on my credit card, and they were pretty flexible about late checkout when my flight got moved around. The 8.6 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what matters: clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for what you get. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying in a neighborhood rather than a hotel bubble, this place hits that mark perfectly.

What could be improved: Lack of close shops like deli or a convince store
Would recommend to stay here
The rooms were very clean and spacious. They gave extra pillows and just had the right amount of equipment. The staff were very lovely and welcoming
What could be improved: The fire alarm was not loud enough when it went off during our stay but besides that nothing bad to say about the property
Really good stay, would stay there again
Clean and comfortable. The rooms were very quiet.
I could park for free at the weekend right outside the front door.
Staff were friendly and helpful
What could be improved: A coffee machine or instant coffee nicer than Nescafé 43 would have been great!

Amazing stay. The purpose of the stay was for recovery for major abdominal surgery. The size of the room was amazing and enough for me to be able to move around. The shower was great, and big enough. The bed was beautifully comfortable. It was quiet and staff were amazing. Thank you. We will return.
