Overview
First Impressions
Perth City Living 105 sits right on Mounts Bay Road, and honestly, the location hits you before you even step inside. I mean, you’re basically in the heart of Perth here — walking distance to Kings Park, the Swan River practically at your doorstep, and the CBD just a short stroll away. This four-star property has that modern apartment-hotel vibe going on, which works really well if you want something more spacious than a typical hotel room but with proper service.
The Space and Setup
What I really appreciated about this place is how they’ve designed the apartment — it actually feels like a proper living space, not just a hotel room with a tiny fridge shoved in the corner. The kitchen is fully equipped (and I actually used it, which says something), and there’s enough counter space to spread out if you’re planning to cook. The living area flows nicely into the bedroom, and you know what? The windows are generous, so you get decent natural light throughout the day. The whole setup works particularly well for couples — no wonder the feedback mentions that specifically.
Location Perks
Here’s what you need to know about this spot on Mounts Bay Road — you’re positioned perfectly for exploring Perth without needing a car constantly. Kings Park is literally across the road (I walked there multiple times), and if you’re into the river scene, the foreshore is right there. The city center is close enough that you can walk to most restaurant options, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos. Elizabeth Quay is about a 10-minute walk, which puts you right in the mix of Perth’s waterfront dining and entertainment.
Practical Considerations
The building itself is well-maintained, and there’s secure parking available — which honestly matters in this part of the city. The staff are helpful without being overly formal, and they seem to know the area well enough to give decent recommendations. One thing I noticed is that the apartment stays pretty quiet despite being on a main road, so the soundproofing actually works. The amenities are solid for a four-star place — nothing groundbreaking, but everything you need is there and functions properly.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Perth City Living 105 works because it gives you the best of both worlds — the independence of having your own space with the convenience of hotel services. The location really is the standout feature here; recent guests consistently rate it highly, and after staying there, I get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters in Perth, but you’re not stuck in some cramped city hotel room. For couples especially, this place hits the sweet spot between romantic city break and practical base for exploring. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what it promises — a comfortable, well-located apartment-style stay in one of Perth’s prime spots.

Everything was there that we needed and we will definitely stay again
We where meet on arrival and even shown to our car space. Very friendly and explained how to use key pad to get in and out
Would highly recommended this apartment.
The property was spacious and very clean. The bed was large and extremely comfortable.
What could be improved: The couch was slightly uncomfortable.
Great location Cosy place perfect
Location
What could be improved: Nothing.
A éviter - Pas digne d'être sur Booking - une honte
bon emplacement
What could be improved: -Problème pour obtenir le logement en soirée
Superb
We made our own breakfasts in the apartment's kitchen. The location was excellent, a short walk to the CBD and to all the free CAT buses.
What could be improved: Maybe an air fryer in the kitchen would be a good idea.
Disappointing
Excellent location with private off street parking. Ideal for walking into Perth Centre, Elizabeth Quay. Comfortable bed with good linen although one change of towels and bedding in four weeks is not sufficient. Overall the place had great potential but was let down by lack of cleanliness. So easy to remedy.
What could be improved: The level of dirt when we arrived was not acceptable. Bathroom window sill black with dirt as was washing machine - we never used the oven as had clearly not been cleaned for somewhile - a health hazard. Bathroom vent thick with dust and grime. Please clean this immediately!! Dust everywhere and kitchen cupboard door hanging off. This was pointed out to our daughter who collected keys on our behalf so known to owner. Why not just fix it. Had to clean throughout, So sad as place has great potential in ideal location and with hotel swimming pool available, just let down by level of cleanliness. Either low standards or laziness on behalf of owner. One change of bed linen and towels in a month is not enough. Fridge not been defrosted in years!!
Suitable but would look else where next time
Had a balcony
Ok kitchen facilities with good hot water
Well appointed laundry
Secure
What could be improved: Very dusty I had to sweep dust of skirting boards and under bed and lounge
Bathroom pretty basic couldn’t fill the bath up as the plumbing didn’t switch across
Superb
Conveniently located and a very functional space for a couple stay!
(relatively) affordable, nice and comfortable apartment
The apartment is very clean and basic supplies and utilities are available, including utensils and cooking equipment.
What could be improved: Fridge is a little small, makes stays longer than a few days less comfortable than could be.
