Overview
First Impressions
You know what caught me off guard about LOCATION LIFESTYLE CONVENIENCE! WIFI NETFLIX WINE? The name pretty much tells you everything you need to know — and honestly, they deliver on every promise. This four-star property on Cook Street doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I actually found refreshing. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel like you can kick back and just exist without any pretense. The attention to detail in every corner of the hotel makes it clear that management genuinely cares about guest satisfaction.
The Perth Advantage
Cook Street puts you right in the sweet spot of Perth — close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the chaos to actually sleep at night. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.3 out of 10, and after spending time here, I get why. You’re walking distance to some genuinely good coffee spots (this is Australia, after all), and the fact that there’s free parking on-site is honestly a game-changer in this part of town. Most places around here charge you an arm and a leg just to leave your car somewhere safe. The neighborhood itself offers excellent dining options and cultural attractions within easy reach.
The Room Experience
The room setup is where this place really shines — they’ve nailed that whole “home away from home” vibe without making it feel like someone’s spare bedroom. Netflix is already set up and ready to go, which saved me the usual hassle of trying to log into my account on yet another hotel TV. The WiFi actually works properly (shocking, I know), and there’s this thoughtful wine selection that makes settling in for the evening feel special rather than just functional. Each apartment-style unit includes modern furnishings and comfortable bedding that ensures a restful night’s sleep.
What Sets It Apart
Here’s the thing about this property — it’s not trying to impress you with marble lobbies or over-the-top amenities. Instead, they’ve focused on getting the basics absolutely right, then adding those little touches that actually matter when you’re traveling. The whole setup feels like someone really thought about what guests would want after a long day exploring Perth, rather than what looks good in photos. It’s that kind of practical thoughtfulness that makes a place memorable. The kitchen facilities are well-equipped for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.
Why Guests Love It
Look, the 9.4 location rating from recent guests isn’t just a number — it reflects how well-positioned this place is for actually experiencing Perth rather than just sleeping in it. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you’ll find yourself appreciating the balance between accessibility and tranquility. The fact that couples consistently rave about it tells you something about the atmosphere — it’s relaxed enough for romance but practical enough that you’re not paying for amenities you’ll never use. Sometimes the best hotel experience is the one that just works seamlessly, and that’s exactly what you get here.

Guest Reviews
Superb
Great unit in a great area. Recommended .
Have stayed here before and we love it. A larger unit with full kitchen, safe free parking, walking distance to great little shopping centre with IGA. Also walking distance to river and public transport.
What could be improved: Nothing. Would definitely recommend.
Very convenient and comfortable
Quiet location, off street parking, well appointed with kitchen utensils, bathroom etc, easy walk to River, shopping, restaurants
What could be improved: Small bed and not a lot of room to move around in the bedroom
Very good
Very nice spot, well situated. Lovely decorations and very comfortable.
What could be improved: Could you please stock more than one half used piece of toilet paper.
Very good
Well presented, little touches of extras appreciated. Location suited us close to hospital.
What could be improved: The double bed, too small for us. Hadn’t realised that when we booked. A queen as a minimum would be preferred, a king even better.
Good location. Value was good. A few things detracted from a good experience.
Location was good. Ease of access was great. Communication with host was fine.
What could be improved: Having a double bed in the only bedroom instead of a queen.
Deeply resented being asked to provide identification and send pictures to prove identify only after I had paid. I felt that this was underhanded, deceptive, and unnecessary.
As per previous reviews for both of these - there were still ants in the kitchen (despite us keeping it spotless) and the drain in the shower was clogged so every shower was had in ankle deep water.
Pleasant
Small shopping center with IGA 3min by walk from the apartment
Easy Access to bus
Apartment full furnished with everything for cooking
Bed very comfortable
What could be improved: Thin walls and uninsulated windows give you the impression of living with your neighbors
Shower badly cleaned on arrival and clogged
Cobwebs and spiders all over the house on arrival as cleaning was poorly done
Nest of ants in the kitchen don’t leave any food anywhere
Early check out 10am and you need to clean before to go as they ask you to leave it clean and taking out your rubbish
1200$ for this apartment is too expensive for what it is
Very good
Comfortable, clean and well located.
Easily found buses to go into town centre and beyond.
Close to small shopping mall for supplies.
Very comfortable.
