Overview
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name is absolutely bonkers – Family Vacation Escapade Shops Beach and Sun Await sounds like someone threw a bunch of travel keywords in a blender – but honestly, once you’re there, it all makes sense. I mean, they weren’t lying about any of it.
The location on Jackson Avenue is actually pretty clever if you know Perth at all. You’re close enough to the action without being stuck in the touristy chaos, and there’s this great little coffee spot just down the street that locals hit up before work (I’d grab a flat white there most mornings). The hotel itself has that relaxed four-star vibe where everything works properly but nobody’s being stuffy about it. Check-in was smooth, parking was easy – which, let’s be honest, matters more than people admit when you’re hauling suitcases around. The front desk staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, not just going through the motions, and they knew their stuff about what was happening around town.
What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail that family-friendly thing without making it feel like a kids’ resort. Sure, there were families around, but it never felt chaotic or overly loud. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over each other, and the soundproofing is solid – I barely heard my neighbors, which is rare these days. The whole property has this sort of breezy, coastal feel even though you’re not right on the beach. They’ve got that Australian laid-back hospitality down pat, where service feels natural rather than scripted. I particularly loved how they’d remember your coffee order after a couple days, little touches like that. The 9.3 rating honestly tracks – it’s one of those places where you can tell they actually care about the guest experience rather than just hitting some corporate checklist. By the end of my stay, I was already thinking about booking again, which doesn’t happen often. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’ve discovered something good without having to compromise on comfort or location.

Guest Reviews
Spacious and comfy
Space, lots of space. True to pictures. Comfortable place for the 6 of us. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Overall a very good stay except I thought we already paid for cleaning - strange that we had to clear the trash before we leave (else there will be a penalty).
Exceptional
Mostly met our expectations
location, number of bedrooms and bathrooms,
What could be improved: No instructions on how to use kitchen appliances. No instruction on how to use air-conditioning panel. No bathroom soap, and had to purchase more toilet paper. Rubbish was not cleared from kitchen tidy from previous occupiers. Kerbside rubbish bin was already full when we arrived.
Fun and relaxing
Big open house
Very good
The charming property met our expectations! It was equipped with everything we needed, situated in a quiet and relatively safe neighborhood, and just a stone's throw away from convenient amenities. The comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the entire house, including the floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, and living rooms. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the hosts' comprehensive check-in website, which covered almost everything we needed to know. Although the chat function took some getting used to, the hosts responded promptly to our queries. Overall, a wonderful stay!
What could be improved: While settling into the house, we needed some time to familiarise ourselves with the layout and locate essentials (eg cutlery, cups etc) around the house. We did encounter a few areas that required attention:
- The bedroom downstairs would benefit from a hanging closet for added convenience.
- The adjacent walkway closet had an unpleasant odor, suggesting it might be used for storing shoes or other items.
- Some maintenance tasks were necessary, such as:
- Securing the wobbly kitchen tap
- Having a bigger trash bin outside as both the trash and recycle bins were full when we checked in.
- Addressing the issue with the toilet doors, which couldn't be locked
- Adjusting the water pressure, which was somewhat low
Lovely spacious house, good location
Location was good, house is very spacious and lovely. Staff were very accommodating, it was very convenient not to have to bring a travel cot. Rooms were big and air-conditioner works well. 3 bathrooms work well with 4 bedrooms. Having a major shopping centre 5 minutes away made cooking at the house easy.
What could be improved: House does need a little maintenance, the wobbly tap in the kitchen was a little annoying. Would have been nice to have the front courtyard grass mowed. Full bin in the kitchen made the house smell and full bin outside was a little problem. Also found the pod coffee machine didn't work. All are easy fixes, we still had a great stay.
Our stay was wonderful with everything we needed supplied.
The property was spacious and well stocked for any need. Location was great too
What could be improved: N/A
Beautiful stay in a beautiful house.
Heaps of space, kitchen well stocked, lovely decor.
What could be improved: Outside needs a good clean. Really dusty and food left on the bbq.
Excellent
The house look so amazing comfortable and clean
What could be improved: All good
Very good
Kitchen Equipment and TV lounge
What could be improved: Bedroom doors unable to lock. Water pressure weak. No water at all sometimes.
