The bedrooms are comfortable without being fussy, and there’s enough space that you’re not tripping over each other if you’re traveling with family or friends. What really got me though was stepping out the back and realizing how quiet it is, even though you’re so close to everything. Sorrento Beach is right there, but you’re tucked away enough that you don’t get the chaos of people walking by your windows all day.

The beach access is honestly what makes this place special. You can walk down to the sand in your flip-flops carrying your coffee, which sounds cheesy but is actually pretty perfect when you’re doing it at 7 AM with barely anyone around. The water’s that brilliant blue-green you see in photos, and if you head left along the coast, you’ll hit some of the quieter spots where locals go. I spent way too much time just wandering between Sorrento and Hillarys – there’s a coastal path that’s perfect for morning walks or afternoon bike rides. The area gets busy on weekends (especially summer), but during the week it’s wonderfully peaceful. Plus, if you need actual civilization, Hillarys Boat Harbour is close enough for decent restaurants and shopping, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds unless you want to. The whole setup just works – you get that proper beach house feeling without sacrificing comfort or convenience. At 9.9 rating, honestly, I get it. Sometimes places live up to the hype.
