Overview

You know what struck me first about this place? The moment I walked into unit 610, I actually stopped and said “oh wow” out loud – and I’m not usually that person. The floor-to-ceiling windows face east toward the city, so you’re getting this incredible view of Perth’s skyline without feeling like you’re living in a fishbowl. The morning light is honestly spectacular, though fair warning if you’re not a morning person – you’ll want to figure out those blinds pretty quickly.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I mean, makes sense since it’s essentially a residential building. The kitchen is properly equipped (I’m talking real knives, decent cookware, not the usual hotel nonsense), and there’s a Coles Metro literally a three-minute walk away on Hay Street if you want to grab groceries. The bedroom’s a good size with a comfortable bed – I slept really well, which surprised me because I was worried about traffic noise from Mounts Bay Road. But honestly, once you close the windows, it’s pretty quiet, especially at night.

Location-wise, this is where it gets interesting. You’re technically in West Perth, but you’re so close to the city that the distinction barely matters. Kings Park is right there – like, genuinely walkable if you don’t mind a bit of a hill. I did the walk to the city center a few times, and it’s maybe fifteen minutes at a casual pace along the river. The building’s on Mounts Bay Road, which sounds busy (and it is during peak hours), but there’s something quite nice about watching the river traffic from up on the sixth floor. There’s also a decent coffee place called Dailygind just around the corner that locals seem to love – I ended up going there three mornings in a row.

The building itself is modern and well-maintained, with good lifts and proper security. Parking was included in my booking, which honestly saved me a fortune because street parking around there is either expensive or impossible. Check-in was smooth – they’ve got it set up so you can do everything remotely, which worked perfectly for my late arrival. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the air conditioning is a bit aggressive when you first turn it on, but once you get it dialed in, it’s fine.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like I was actually living in Perth rather than just visiting. You’re close enough to walk to restaurants and bars in the city, but you can also just cook dinner and watch the sunset over the water. The 9.5 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top, it’s just really well-executed. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’ve already recommended it to two friends who are planning Perth trips.

静かで快適なアパートメント

高速道路や幹線道路に面していないため夜も静かで快適でした。中心部まで歩いても15分程度にも関わらず屋内の駐車場も付いており、車で活動する場合はとても良いと思います。洗濯機も乾燥機も付いているので便利でした。

What could be improved: キッチンで小さなゴキブリがいたので、対策されていれば完璧だと思います。
