Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to B6 Crawley Apartment 1 BRM & Sleepout near UWA, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the location immediately caught my attention. You’re right on Broadway in Crawley, which honestly feels like one of Perth’s best-kept secrets for visitors who want to be close to everything without the city chaos. This four-star setup is actually an apartment with a separate sleepout, which means you’re getting way more space than your typical hotel room.
The Space and Layout
The apartment itself surprised me — it’s got this practical, lived-in feel that makes you comfortable immediately. The main bedroom is decent-sized, and that sleepout? It’s basically a bonus space that works perfectly if you’re traveling with friends or just want somewhere to spread out your stuff. I mean, having a proper kitchen changes everything when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. You can actually grab groceries from the nearby shops and cook breakfast instead of hunting down cafes every morning (though Perth has some great ones if that’s your thing).
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally a stone’s throw from the University of Western Australia, which means the whole area has this vibrant, youthful energy. But more importantly for most travelers, you’re perfectly positioned between the city and some of Perth’s best riverside areas. Kings Park is basically next door, and trust me, you’ll want to spend time there. The Swan River is right there too, and those morning walks along the water? Pretty hard to beat. Parking isn’t a nightmare here either, which anyone who’s driven around Perth city will appreciate.
The Neighborhood Vibe
Crawley has this interesting mix going on — it’s got the university crowd, but it’s also where a lot of locals actually live, so you get real Perth life instead of just tourist stuff. There’s a decent restaurant scene within walking distance, and the public transport connections are solid if you want to explore further out. I noticed couples seem to really dig this place, and I get why — it’s got that romantic riverside location without being too isolated or touristy.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is the combination of space, location, and that homey feeling you just don’t get in regular hotels. Recent guests keep raving about the location, and honestly, they’re not wrong — you’re close enough to walk into the city when you want urban energy, but far enough out to actually relax. The fact that it consistently gets high ratings tells you something about the experience. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but it delivers exactly what most people actually want: a comfortable base in a great spot where you can live a bit like a local for a few days.

Guest Reviews
Passable
What could be improved: no wifi
The outside area was untidy, not swept and we couldn’t use it. There was a terrible cooking smell throughout.
Location and cleanlinesx
What could be improved: Bathroom with toilet was off the main bedroom with the second sunroom/bedroom having to into the master to get to the toilet.
