Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Perth hotels, and Ardross Short Stays on Riseley Street is one of those places that actually gets it right. When I first pulled up to 105A, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior – it’s tucked into this quiet residential stretch that honestly feels more like someone’s upscale neighborhood than a hotel zone. But that’s exactly what makes it work.
The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical cookie-cutter accommodation. The attention to detail is pretty impressive – I mean, we’re talking about things like decent water pressure (thank god), blackout curtains that actually block light, and kitchen facilities that don’t look like they were sourced from a garage sale. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a hotel, which I suppose is the point of “short stays.” What really sold me was the noise level, or lack thereof. You know how Perth can get with traffic, especially around the river areas, but this spot on Riseley is surprisingly peaceful. I could actually sleep past 7am without garbage trucks or construction waking me up.
The location is pretty clever too – you’re close enough to Applecross and the river that you can walk to some decent cafes and that whole riverside strip, but far enough from the tourist madness that you’re not dealing with crowds. There’s this little coffee place about five minutes away that locals seem to know about, and honestly, the barista makes better flat whites than half the city spots. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around Perth’s inner suburbs will appreciate – no circling blocks or paying ridiculous fees. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be flashy or oversell itself, just solid accommodation that does the basics really well, plus some thoughtful extras you don’t expect. The kind of place where you’d actually want to stay again instead of just enduring it for a night.

Great location, excellent size
Excellent details provided for an easy check in. Operator was very responsive when some minor issues occurred. Location was excellent with easy access to a major shopping center, local cafes & public transport.
What could be improved: Not as clean as it should have been. Shower, range hood & dryer needed attention. Operator was informed & was very responsive to feedback.

Conveniently located near Westfield Booragoon in safe neighbourhood. Love that we have a spacious garage for the car and 3 bedrooms. The unit is well equipped with all necessities.
What could be improved: We didn't know how to remove the timer for the air conditioning. It goes off every 6 hours. Not ideal for a hot summer night.

What could be improved: The floor is not clean, there is stain on towels, the table and chairs outside the patio have spider webs and are dirty. The bed in master room is super small.

All the basic necessities required are provided. Location is excellent near to a big shopping mall. Neighborhood is good.
What could be improved: Heating of water not very fast, so it is a bit of issue during winter.
Could do with a long mirror in master bedroom.

The location was great and the house had good facilities. Kitchen had everything you needed to self cater for a few days and great to have the washer and dryer.
What could be improved: The shower heads in both bathrooms were broken when we arrived making having a shower a bit challenging.
