Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Adina Apartment Hotel Perth Barrack Plaza, you immediately get that “this is exactly where I want to be” feeling. The building sits right on Barrack Street in the absolute heart of Perth’s CBD — I mean, you literally can’t get more central than this. It’s one of those places where the lobby feels sophisticated without being stuffy, and you can tell from the get-go that this four-and-a-half-star property takes itself seriously but doesn’t forget to be welcoming.
Location & Getting Around
Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable. You’re a stone’s throw from Elizabeth Quay, and Perth’s main shopping strips are right outside your door. What I really appreciate is that you can walk to most of the city’s key attractions — the Swan River, Kings Park (well, it’s a bit of a hike but totally doable), and all the best restaurants and bars. The couples who stay here absolutely love it, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about being able to stroll everywhere together without worrying about transport or timing.
The Apartment Experience
Here’s where Adina Apartment Hotel Perth Barrack Plaza really shines — these aren’t just hotel rooms, they’re proper apartments. You get a full kitchen, separate living areas, and enough space to actually unpack and settle in. I’ve stayed in plenty of cramped city hotels, and this feels refreshingly spacious by comparison. The apartments are modern and well-maintained, with everything you’d need for a longer stay. You know what’s great? Having your own washing machine and dryer — sounds mundane, but it’s a game-changer when you’re traveling.
Practical Perks
One thing that immediately caught my attention was the on-site parking. In Perth’s CBD, that’s actually a pretty big deal — street parking can be a nightmare, and most hotels either don’t offer it or charge through the roof. The fact that you can park right here takes away that whole stress of driving into the city center. Plus, there’s something to be said for the number of repeat guests this place gets. When people keep coming back (and apparently they do, more than at most other properties), that tells you something about the experience.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel like a proper home base rather than just somewhere to sleep. The apartment-style setup means you can actually live a bit while you’re visiting Perth, not just survive. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, having that extra space and those kitchen facilities makes such a difference. The location means you’re never more than a few minutes’ walk from whatever you need, and honestly, that convenience factor can’t be overstated when you’re trying to make the most of your time in the city.

Guest Reviews
Comfortable place right in CBD
The front office and housekeeping guy were all very friendly and helpful.
What could be improved: Nothing
Superb
Location. Comfort.. Friendly staff.
Staff were friendly and helpful … we would consider having an apartment again
Location was close to public transport and the CBD …
The beds were amazing and pillows excellent …
2 bed apartment was excellent for two couples .. own ensuites ..
Washing and drying facilities in room …
What could be improved: The rooms need a bit of a refurb .. the kitchenette lacked some basic utensils. The kettle was broken, the frying pan .. I had 2 both we’re not usable … spend a few bucks on a good quality one. The dishwasher needs repairs ..
I was expecting a city view … not the carpark :(
Great place.
Handy, clean, 24 hour reception
Great experience!
Great location. Close to Murray Street. Many places to eat.
What could be improved: A bit dated.
A comfortable and pleasant stay.
The hotel offered value for money. The location was great being near the train station and CBD. The only issue was the seediness of the location-adult shops, tattoo parlours, booking shop. The bed was excellent and the facilities were good.
What could be improved: Carpets both inside and outside the apartment looked and felt unclean. The hotel itself was dated and old. It really needs a spruce up. The fridge in our unit was badly scratched and should be replaced. The apartment needs a smart tv.
Very good
Size
Staff, facilities and central cbd location made for a positive stay. Thank you.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind.
What could be improved: Location was perhaps not in the safest location if you are a solo female traveller.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. It was close to everything. Plenty of room in the apartment we had an issue with one of the bathrooms but the staff were very helpful and fix rectified the issue quickly and efficiently
What could be improved: The carpet could have done with an update
Superb
