Overview
First Impressions
Walking into 404 Big Beautiful One Bed & Balcony, you immediately get why this place has such a stellar location score. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Perth — and I’m not just saying that because it sounds good on paper. The building sits right on Victoria Avenue, which honestly puts you within walking distance of pretty much everything worth seeing in the CBD. It’s one of those spots where you can actually leave your car parked (if you even need one) and just explore on foot.
The Space Itself
This four-star apartment really lives up to its name — it is genuinely spacious and beautiful. The bedroom feels properly sized, not like those cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. What I loved most was the balcony — you know how some places advertise a balcony and it’s basically a ledge? This one’s actually usable. You can sit out there with your morning coffee and watch Perth wake up below you. The kitchen is well-equipped too, which is perfect if you want to grab some local produce from the weekend markets and cook something up instead of eating out every meal.
Location Perks
Here’s what makes the location really work — you’re close enough to walk to Northbridge for dinner, but far enough from the late-night noise that you’ll actually sleep well. The Swan River is just a few minutes’ walk south, and if you’re into that morning jog routine (or just want to walk off last night’s dinner), the riverside paths are honestly some of the best in the city. Plus, being right in the CBD means you can easily catch public transport to Fremantle or the beaches without any hassle.
What Sets It Apart
The thing about Perth is that it can feel spread out — you often end up choosing between staying near the action or having space to breathe. This place actually gives you both, which is probably why couples rate it so highly for romantic trips. The room has enough space that you’re not living on top of each other, and there’s something nice about having your own balcony to retreat to. I also appreciated the little touches — proper blackout curtains (Perth gets bright early), decent water pressure in the shower, and reliable wifi that actually works when you need it.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Perth CBD has changed a lot in recent years, and this apartment sits right in the sweet spot of that transformation. You’re walking distance from some genuinely good restaurants and bars, but you’re also close enough to Kings Park that you can escape the urban feel when you want to. The fact that it consistently gets high ratings for location isn’t just marketing speak — it’s because you can actually walk places instead of constantly calling Ubers. For couples especially, there’s something to be said for having your own space with a view, rather than just another hotel room with windows facing a wall.

Easy to obtain the key from the locked box.

Was great space.
What could be improved: That the cleaner was at my door at 10am as I was just leaving. I felt really rushed and never got to go and check I had packed everything. Just felt it was a little rude. I was ready for check out, just getting my bits together.
Decent place to stay in Perth.
Comfortable apartment well located for centre of Perth.
What could be improved: Road works outside makes access a little difficult but manageable. Too many rules and “dos and donts”. Excessive !
Lovely central location, large bright property.
Lovely large bright property. Good location close to public transport and local restaurants and cafes. Perfect for our stay in Perth!
Great facilities and a very comfortable apartment made the stay enjoyable.
Location was excellent, not far from anything. Spacious apartment with great facilities, very comfortable.
What could be improved: The departure instructions were difficult to locate and the hosts could have been more helpful with the informatioin..
Great.

What could be improved: Enjoyed the property. No negative feedback.
Great value for money, overall I’m happy with my stay
Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Excellent location. Bed was comfortable. Good kitchen facilities. Great for a stay in the city. I was there for work for 3 days but would be comfortable for a couple visiting to explore Perth.
What could be improved: Shower did not have a lot of water pressure but was workable. Walls were a bit thin so not great if you are a light sleeper.
