Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to B5 Crawley Apartment 1 BRM & Sleepout near UWA, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the location on Broadway immediately caught my attention. This four-star apartment sits in one of Perth‘s most sought-after neighborhoods, and you can feel why the moment you step out of your car. The fact that there’s parking right on site is actually a huge relief — anyone who’s tried to find a spot in Crawley knows what I mean.
The Space That Surprises
What really sets this place apart is the thoughtful layout with both a bedroom and sleepout area. The main room feels spacious without being cavernous, and honestly, the sleepout is where things get interesting — it’s like having a bonus space that works perfectly whether you’re traveling as a couple who wants some breathing room or friends who don’t mind sharing. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get in apartment stays. I mean, you’re close enough to great cafes that you don’t have to cook, but it’s nice knowing you actually could whip up something decent if you wanted to.
Location Magic
Here’s what the booking sites don’t tell you — being this close to UWA means you’re in the heart of one of Perth’s most walkable areas. The Swan River is literally a few minutes’ stroll away, and Kings Park (which, let’s be real, is one of the world’s best urban parks) is right there. You know what I love about this spot? You can walk to Matilda Bay for sunset drinks, then wander back through tree-lined streets that actually have character. It’s no wonder couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about the whole neighborhood.
The Details That Matter
The 9.4 rating isn’t just a number — you feel it in the little things. The apartment is genuinely clean and well-maintained, not just “good enough for a short stay” clean. The Wi-Fi actually works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. What impressed me most was how quiet it stays despite being on Broadway — the windows do their job, and you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. The whole setup feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need, rather than just throwing furniture in a space and calling it done.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Perth can be tricky for accommodation — you’re either stuck in the CBD with limited character, or you’re way out in the suburbs with no walkability. This place hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood while still being close to everything that matters. The combination of space, location, and that reliable parking makes it work for different types of trips. Whether you’re here for university visits, exploring Perth’s cafe scene, or just want a base that doesn’t feel touristy, it delivers without trying too hard to impress.
