Overview
First Impressions
Walking into 206 Funky Executive Studio Cbd Ac, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical corporate hotel. The name pretty much says it all — there’s definitely a quirky, modern vibe that sets it apart from the stuffy business hotels you’ll find scattered around Perth. It’s got this four-star polish without feeling overly formal, which honestly works perfectly for the CBD location.
Location & Getting Around
You know what really impressed me? The location score of 9.5 isn’t just marketing fluff — this place genuinely sits in the sweet spot of Perth’s central business district. Being right on Victoria Avenue means you’re literally steps away from everything that matters. I mean, you can walk to the major shopping areas, catch public transport without any hassle, and there’s this great mix of cafes and bars within a few blocks. The parking situation is typical for the CBD (read: not cheap), but honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re here.
The Studio Space
The studio setup is actually pretty clever — it’s designed for people who want more than just a basic hotel room but don’t need a full apartment. There’s enough space to spread out your work stuff if you’re here on business, plus the air conditioning works really well (which you’ll appreciate during Perth’s summer months). The kitchenette is compact but functional — perfect for making coffee in the morning or storing some snacks, though I wouldn’t plan on cooking elaborate meals.
Why Couples Choose This Place
I can definitely see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. There’s something about the modern design and central location that just works for a city break. You’re close enough to walk to dinner at some of Perth’s better restaurants, then come back to a space that feels more intimate than a standard hotel room. The studio layout gives you that “playing house in the city” feeling without the commitment of a long-term rental.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is how it balances convenience with character. You get that funky, contemporary feel the name promises, but it’s backed up by solid four-star amenities and service. The 8.5 rating reflects what I experienced — it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises. For business travelers who want something a bit different, or couples looking for a central base to explore Perth, it hits that sweet spot between location, comfort, and personality that’s surprisingly hard to find in the CBD. The modern design and thoughtful layout ensure guests enjoy their stay while experiencing authentic Perth hospitality. This executive studio offers excellent value with its prime location and well-appointed amenities, making it an ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking both comfort and convenience in Perth’s vibrant central business district.

Guest Reviews
Very good
Exceptional
Great location, nice room but the walls are not sound proofed.
The location was excellent. Kitchenette was handy. The bed was nice and comfy.
What could be improved: The walls were paper thin. Noisy neighbours partying till 1am (when I banged on the wall)on our final night really soured our stay.
Fire alarm was set off on another night and the building had to evacuate. The fire door on our floor was blocked by a full rubbish bin!
Information folder in the room was stained and mouldy, standard lamp did not have a working globe and 1 out of the 3 main ceiling globes was flickering.
Good price, good place, well located.
The location, just off the Perth CBD, was really convenient, I walked everywhere I needed to go. That included the arts and food precinct and the main railway station.
The apartment was clean spacious and the hosts attentive.
What could be improved: Not so much not like but what was lacking. The cooking facility was limited. Given the location of the apartment that was not a deal breaker.
Superb stay!
I really enjoyed my stay here with my friend. I love the place, very neat and decent room with all facilities and very good location. Highly recommended! Cheers!
Sufficient for a nice accommodation but could be better
- Super accessible to the city via the free CAT bus (2 mins walk from the unit).
- Toiletries was provided except for toothbrush and toothpaste
- Additional Sofa to relax instead of using the bed.
- All the equipment stated was working. Utensils were more than enough for 1 person. Only thing missing is a pair of scissors, and tissue box.
What could be improved: - Pillows too soft
- Water pressure from the shower head is not that strong
- Two of the switches control one main light. Could have install more lights
- Main door lock was pretty basic. I had to check several times to ensure that I already locked the unit.
Good
overall we enjoyed the room and it was exactly what we were looking for on this trip
Great location, comfy bed and couch and easily accessible when arriving and leaving for your stay
What could be improved: There was a weird smell in the room, coming from the fridge area, no windows to open to let fresh air in to help with the smell and the bathroom/laundry doesn’t have an exhaust fan so the moisture from the shower didn’t help the smell
Quite location, although all the threats and rules made the stay unpleasant
Good location. Very quiet.
What could be improved: Too many threatening notifications in the unit. A lot of rules and threats of being charged extra. Made the stay unpleasant.
Love the location. But the little things make a big difference such as milk for coffee and the suga
Location was great
What could be improved: So noisy was on Night Shift to noisy to sleep and the air conditioning filter were not clean.
