Charles Street itself is tree-lined and quiet, but you’re still close enough to the city center that getting around is never a hassle. What really sold me though was the free private parking right on site — anyone who’s tried to park in Perth knows that’s worth its weight in gold.

Family holiday on Charles St.
Great location for city shopping and WAPPA.
Easy location to catch public transport and ubers.
Easy walk to nearby MacDonalds and Zamberos and BP.
Fitzgerald Street is only a 5 min walk and has Coles and cafes and medical services.
The house was presented beautifully with great furnishings.
Great size of apartment and it felt very safe and secure.
Beds were very comfy.
What could be improved: The garage didn't fit my landcruiser but we parked outside the garage.
The shower in the ensuite leaked water out making a flood around the toilet every time.
Challenging Parking
Kitchen,dinning and livingroom area. Walking distance to coles and chemist warehouse.
What could be improved: No heater in the bathroom which was cold, single heater in the living room area. We had a big car which wouldn’t fit into the garage and we parked outside the garage conscious of not blocking the neighbors garage entrance but seems neighbors still had issue with it. So we had to park at the main street which was not so convenient.

Apartment very clean, air ventilation good, environment quiet.
What could be improved: Kitchen accessory not enough, as we have 5 people and only have 5 bowl, we need to use same bowl for rice and soup.
Nice and clean
We had a lovely stay, place was clean, full kitchen provided. Kids loved the staircase and space. The rooms took awhile to warm up in winter as central heater was in living room, but not a problem just had to turn it on early.
What could be improved: Entrance to house was abit hard to find and garage was a very tight squeeze. Would be great if facial tissue and kitchen towels were provided.
Very good
Whilst I wouldn't describe it as luxury it is a great place to stay and in a great location. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfy but perhaps time to update the lounge.
What could be improved: The house is on a busy road but with the doors and windows closed you can block out the noise. Getting in and out of the garage is a little tight and will only fit a small car but great to have parking available.
