Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Cottesloe Beach View Apartments #11 on Marine Parade, you immediately get that “I made the right choice” feeling. This four-star property sits right where you want to be in Cottesloe — close enough to hear the waves but far enough back that you’re not dealing with sand in everything. The building itself has that classic Perth coastal vibe, nothing too flashy, but you can tell it’s well-maintained. What really caught my attention was how quiet it felt despite being on one of the area’s main strips.
The Perfect Beachside Spot
Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable — and I’m not just saying that because couples apparently rate it a perfect 10. You’re literally a two-minute walk to Cottesloe Beach, which means you can actually see people surfing from your window if you get the right angle. The famous Cottesloe Beach Hotel is right down the road, and if you know Perth at all, you know that’s where everyone ends up for sunset drinks. There’s also free parking on-site, which — trust me — is a huge deal in this area, especially during summer when beach parking becomes a contact sport.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. You’ve got a proper kitchen with everything you actually need (not just a mini-fridge and hope), which means you can grab fresh seafood from the markets and cook it yourself if you want. The living area opens up nicely, and the whole space has this relaxed, beachy feel without being over-the-top nautical themed. The bedroom is comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to sleep in, and the bathroom — well, it’s got one of those showers where you might lose track of time.
Local Insights
What I really appreciate about staying here is how it puts you right in the rhythm of Cottesloe life. You can walk to the train station in about ten minutes, which connects you straight to Perth city center — super handy if you want to explore Fremantle or head into the CBD. The local café scene is actually pretty solid too; there’s this little place called Dome that does decent coffee, and if you’re feeling fancy, Il Lido is right on the beach for proper Italian. The Sunday markets at the beach are worth checking out, especially if you’re here during the warmer months.
Why Guests Love It
Look, with a 9.4 rating, this place is clearly doing something right, and after staying here, I get it. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Cottesloe rather than just visiting it. You’re not stuck in some generic hotel restaurant for every meal, but you’re also not roughing it in a hostel. The combination of being steps from one of Australia’s best beaches, having your own space to spread out, and being able to park your car without stress — that’s honestly the trifecta for a Perth beach stay. Plus, the fact that it consistently gets top marks for location tells you everything you need to know about how guests feel when they’re actually here.

Exceptional
My mum and I loved the view and location
What could be improved: stairs with a heavy suitcase, car park was narrow space/park.
Excellent apartment with a lovely ocean view
An excellent place to stay - clean, comfortable and in a great location
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped and the balcony overlooking the ocean was a nice place to hang out.
There are plenty of places to eat within a short walking distance, and there is a decent supermarket nearby if you prefer to cook.
The owner was helpful and gave good, clear instructions about gaining access.
Perfect!

Great location and very nice appartment. Super host.
Fantastic location, beautiful apartment, I look forward to visiting again!
Lovely, spacious apartment with modern and stylish decor. Very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Fantastic balcony with an amazing view!
Fantastic communication from the owner with incredibly detailed instructions for the apartment, and really lovely personal touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival and Easter biscuits for my children.
What could be improved: A light on the balcony would be useful - maybe there was one that we didn’t find?
Superb
What could be improved: Little hard to find the parking spot
I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful venue. The accommodation exceeded my expectations as a welcoming, com
The property itself is lovely and its position is gorgeous being on the at the stunningly beautiful Cottesloe Beach. The sunsets are special and you can see Rottnest Island in the distance. At the accommodation, everything you need is provided to begin your stay. There is nothing worse when travelling to find that on arrival you’re not able to settle comfortably until you go shopping. This accommodation is very welcoming. It had everything we needed and more, topping it off with a bottle of wine (and Easter Biscuits). It was a surprise welcoming gift and just made me smile and immediately relax.
