Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Perth CBD, but this spot on Bennett Street actually surprised me. You know what hits you first? The views – and I mean, they weren’t kidding with that name. From the living room windows, you’re looking straight out at the Swan River, and honestly, depending on which way you’re facing, you can catch glimpses of both WACA and Optus Stadium. It’s one of those moments where you set down your bags and just… pause for a second.
The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not one of those sterile hotel setups. Two proper bedrooms, which is rare to find in the CBD without paying through the nose. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries from the IGA down the street instead of eating out every meal. I mean, Perth’s restaurant scene is great, but sometimes you just want to make coffee the way you like it, you know? The whole place has this lived-in comfort – good couch for watching footy, decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train (trust me, that matters during Perth summers).
What really sold me on this place though is the location. Bennett Street is sort of tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise, but you’re still walking distance to everything that matters. The riverside walk is literally right there – perfect for morning runs or evening strolls when the city lights start reflecting on the water. Plus, and this is something most tourists don’t realize, you’re positioned perfectly for getting to events. When there’s something on at Optus Stadium, you can actually walk there along the river path instead of dealing with the parking nightmare everyone else faces. Same goes for WACA matches – though honestly, those crowds are usually more manageable anyway.
The building itself is well-maintained, nothing fancy but solid. Secure entry, decent lift, and the hallways don’t smell like cleaning chemicals or worse. Parking can be a bit tight – it’s Perth CBD after all – but there’s usually street parking available if you’re willing to walk a block or two. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, and the host actually responded quickly when I had a question about the TV setup. Small thing, but it matters when you’re trying to unwind after a long day of meetings or sightseeing.
The only minor gripe I’d have is that the street-facing bedroom can get a bit of noise from early morning delivery trucks, but honestly, that’s just city living. Pop in some earplugs or close the door – problem solved. The river-facing bedroom is dead quiet, perfect if you’re a light sleeper.
Bottom line: if you need space to spread out, want actual views instead of looking at the building across the street, and you appreciate being walking distance to both the river and Perth’s main sporting venues, this place delivers. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a solid, comfortable base that happens to have some pretty spectacular views thrown in. For what you’re paying, especially considering it’s proper two-bedroom space in the CBD, it’s honestly hard to beat.

Guest Reviews
Feels like home.
Superb location, within walking distance to Perth Mint and the city centre with many restaurants a stone’s throw away. Equally important, it comes with parking.
What could be improved: Very spacious, comes with all the facilities all thoughtfully prepared. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed ourselves staying here. Five star rating!
Our trip to Perth was enyjoyable thanks to having this wonderful place to stay.
The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms and balcony were relatively spacious. The secured carpark is a bonus. Nearby were the yellow and red cat bus stops. The shop below serves great pizzas. The Esplanade by the Swan River is 8 mins walk away and if you plan to walk to Perth station, that’s 30 mins away.
What could be improved: The second bedroom has only one recessed ceiling light and requires the bedside lamps to be switched on for reading. The aircon unit in the ensuite bedroom is a bit noisy.
Exceptional
Very spacious and clean. Off street parking really good.
What could be improved: Maybe a 2nd hair dryer. A sign for emergency exit (a sign for the stairs)
Great for two couples.
Spacious apartment - bedrooms well separated for couples. Walking distance to city and stadiums - eateries and supermarket near by - convenient free bus routes close.
Exceptional
Very clean, has everything you need, well located. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
great
good location
Superb
Large balcony with a view
What could be improved: Not enough water glasses
We like the apartment and would recommend it to our friends
V clean and comfortable
What could be improved: There were intermittent noises which were from the equipment next to the TV and sometimes from the kitchen. We didn’t use any appliances except for the water kettle.
Exceptional
This room was very clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. The free bus was also close by, making access to Perth city center very convenient. If I come to Perth again, I would love to stay here!
Exceptional
Comfortable and easy to move around.
