Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place on Mounts Bay Road – it’s one of those apartments that tries to cram every selling point into its name, which honestly made me roll my eyes at first. But you know what? They actually deliver on most of it, which surprised me.
The location is genuinely solid if you want to be right in the thick of Perth’s CBD without paying those ridiculous hotel prices along St Georges Terrace. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Swan River foreshore, and I mean the good part where all the food trucks set up on weekends. The Netflix and WiFi situation is legit – I streamed three seasons of something forgettable during a rainy weekend and never had buffering issues. The parking thing is huge here because, let’s face it, finding a spot in Perth CBD that won’t cost you $30 a day is like finding a decent coffee after 3pm (nearly impossible). There’s actually secure parking included, which saves you from circling the block like a vulture every time you want to grab groceries.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, if that makes sense. The wine they mention is just a bottle of local stuff waiting when you arrive – nothing fancy, but it’s a nice touch that shows they’re thinking beyond the basics. The city views are real, though honestly, you’re looking at office buildings and construction cranes mostly. I mean, it’s Perth CBD, not the French Riviera. But during sunset, when the light hits the river in the distance, it’s actually pretty decent. The space is bigger than most hotel rooms you’ll find in the area, with a proper kitchen that’s equipped well enough to cook real meals. I spent a week there last winter and found myself making breakfast every morning instead of wandering around looking for somewhere decent that opens before 8am.
What really works about this place is that it feels like you’re living in Perth rather than just visiting. You’re close enough to walk to Northbridge for dinner (though be prepared for the sketchy bit along William Street), and the weekend farmers markets at Forrest Place are just a short stroll away. The building itself is nothing special – standard Perth apartment block from the 2000s – but the unit is well-maintained and actually clean, which isn’t always a given with these short-term rentals. The 7.1 rating feels about right, honestly. It’s not luxury, but it’s solid value for money, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want the freedom to do your own thing. Just don’t expect hotel-level service or daily housekeeping – this is more like borrowing a friend’s apartment, complete with the quirks and personality that comes with it.

Guest Reviews
Nice location, spacious apartment but quite old and not really clean.
Nice and convenient location, spacious apartment, access to pool, tennis court and gym, quick reaction from owners.
What could be improved: Complicated check-in process, cleaning job was done thoroughly before check-in, quite old facility.
If they repair / replace the toilet upstairs then this would be a good place to stay.
Large spacious living area.
What could be improved: The bedrooms are up stairs, and the toilet upstairs is broken. The stairs are carpeted making it a bit dangerous to go downstairs in the night to use the toilet. Only the downstairs toilet in the entrance way works.
Condo car parking, so tight if you have a larger vehicle.
Also the personal information required to stay is too much. They asked for photos of all guests holding up their ID. No information about how that information is stored or if it is destroyed. I’m still worried about this two weeks later, and concerned it will result in a hack. I replied to emails asking these questions and haven’t had a reply.
Very good
Overall, clean and comfortable home. Easy parking and lift available. Enjoyed our stay here.
What could be improved: Is a 2-storey condo and rooms are on 1st floor. For those who can't walk the stairs, might be an issue, else, all is good.
Fantastic location, overall a good stay.
Location
What could be improved: The condition of the apartment is rather tired. Asked for what I consider to be excessive personal information prior to check in (photos of drivers licences for all guests). When the host did not address to specific questions regarding the ID request and security deposit it me very uncomfortable.
Exceptional
Location and the facilities
What could be improved: All good
Central location and home away from home vibe
The location, beds as they were super comfy and just the extras you get eg wifi, Netflix, parking, etc
Cozy and homely stay in Perth.
Great location! Within walkable distance to kings park. Free shelter parking and host is very responsive in all matters. Well stocked apartment for a comfortable stay.
What could be improved: The internet is patchy and we didn’t get any wifi on the last day. Netflix is also patchy. We didn’t manage to watch shows as the Netflix fails to connect. But other than this , it is a perfect place for family vacation.
Everything is good, I will come again.
We like the location and facilities.
What could be improved: The parking on site is with high risk of hitting the pillar which is very close to the parking bay. If the pillar can be painted with bright color as trigger, it would be better.
Very good
A spacious and quiet apartment with easy access to free onsite parking. A short walk into the CBD. Good for business travellers who need a little more space.
whilst the unit was spacious in size, more information would have been appreciated as to the steepness of the internal s
parking available
What could be improved: bed linen was old and badly needs an update. no handrail on the steps. pool steps are many and steep. difficult for people with bad knees. felt like being in a goldfish bowl with many units overlooking the property
