Overview
First Impressions
Walking into COMO The Treasury, you immediately get the sense that someone put a lot of thought into this place. It’s housed in a beautifully restored heritage building right in the heart of Perth CBD, and that combination of old bones and genuinely refined interiors is something you don’t come across all that often. The ceilings are high, the details are considered, and honestly, it just feels like a proper five-star hotel — not one that’s simply calling itself that.
Location & Neighbourhood
The address on Cathedral Avenue puts you right in the thick of things, which matters more than people sometimes realise when they’re booking. You’re steps away from the Swan River, close to the cultural precinct, and the kind of walkable distance to good coffee and restaurants that makes a real difference to your day. Couples especially seem to fall for this spot — and it’s easy to see why, because there’s something genuinely romantic about strolling around this part of the city in the evening. The location score here is 9.9, which is about as close to perfect as it gets.
The Rooms
The rooms are where the luxury really shows itself — not in a showy way, but in the quiet, considered details that you notice after a long day of travelling. The beds, I mean, people genuinely rave about the beds here, and it’s one of those things where you actually believe the hype once you’ve experienced it. Everything feels well-proportioned and calm, which is sort of the whole point when you’re paying for a stay like this. You wake up actually rested, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case.
Breakfast
Breakfast here covers a solid range — continental options, gluten-free choices, and a grab-and-go setup for those mornings when you’ve got somewhere to be. It’s the kind of spread that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, which you appreciate when you’re staying somewhere at this level. If you’re someone with dietary requirements, it’s reassuring to know they’ve actually thought about that rather than just offering one token option. And if you’re in a rush, the breakfast-to-go means you’re not skipping it entirely — always a good sign.
Why Guests Love It
COMO The Treasury sits at a 9.6 guest rating, and spending any time here makes that pretty easy to understand. There’s a consistency to the experience — the location, the sleep quality, the service — that you don’t always find even at this price point. Parking is available on-site, which is a small but genuinely useful detail if you’re driving into the city. Well, put it this way: Perth has some good hotels, but this one has a way of making you feel like you’ve made the right call from the moment you arrive.

Guest Reviews
Perfect Perth Hotel
Fantastic in every way. Loved the central location. The rooms are just gorgeous, spacious airy and light. Beautiful bathroom. The gym and pool are great and very quiet. The staff were without exception so friendly.
What could be improved: It really wasn’t an issue for us but if you had mobility issues it might not be suitable. There are a number of steps and most of the elevators were out of action while we were there. It’s only a couple of floors so not a big issue

Top class service and attention to detail over all aspects of our stay. Friendly, respectful and courteous staff. Excellent breakfast. A complimentary room upgrade was an unexpected and much appreciated treat on the occasion of our wedding anniversary.
