Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to 66 Broadway, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place called “B7 Crawley Apartment 1 BRM & Sleepout.” The name sounds like someone was trying to cram every possible search term into their listing, you know? But actually walking into this little setup near UWA completely changed my tune. The apartment sits in one of those classic Perth neighborhoods where you’ve got tree-lined streets and that relaxed vibe that makes you forget you’re still technically in the city. What really caught me off guard was how thoughtfully everything was set up – I mean, whoever runs this place actually gets what travelers need.
The sleepout is where things get interesting, and honestly, it’s probably my favorite part of the whole arrangement. It’s this separate little space that feels like your own private retreat, which is perfect if you’re traveling with someone who snores or, well, if you just need to decompress after a long day exploring. The main bedroom is solid – nothing fancy, but the bed’s comfortable and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, especially considering you’re so close to the university. I was expecting more noise from students, but the street actually mellows out pretty early. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Perth knows is basically a small miracle.
Being this close to UWA means you’re perfectly positioned for exploring some of Perth’s better-kept secrets. You can walk to Kings Park – and I mean actually walk, not that “walking distance” nonsense where you need hiking boots and a water bottle. The river’s right there too, and if you time it right in the morning, you’ll catch all the rowers out doing their thing, which is oddly peaceful to watch with your coffee. The neighborhood has this authentic Perth feel that you miss when you’re stuck in the CBD hotels. There’s a little café about three blocks down Broadway that does proper flat whites, and the local IGA has everything you need if you want to cook instead of eating out every meal. Honestly, at an 8.4 rating, this place is doing something right – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just trying to be functional and comfortable, which is exactly what you want when you’re using a place as your base to explore the area rather than spending all your time in your room.

Guest Reviews
Very good
Very good
It was good - and the location was perfect for what I needed. There were just a few small issues.
What could be improved: Wifi was terrible. The TV remote didn't work. The kettle was rusted. The bed rolled around on the floor. Ceiling fan in bedroom below average.
Enjoyable
Good location, friendly and welcoming staff,
What could be improved: Nothing
Very good
Great if you need to be at UWA.
Set out well. Clean. Next door to UWA - location was perfect.
What could be improved: It’s an apartment block with no extra facilities.
Not cheap but ok
location is good, close to some shops and cafes/takeaways and the river and the city.
What could be improved: parking on the property was limited and not easy to actually park the small car in the small spaces. The bed was not great, the kitchen tap felt like it could break at any moment and sometimes the plumbing was extremely noisy.
Property met our needs for a longer stay although I feel like it is more suited to a couple.
Location is convenient, close to public transport and shops and a short distance to Kings Park and into the city. Access instructions were clear and easy to follow for out of hours access. Everything we required for an extended stay (e.g cooking equipment/hanging space) was provided. Welcome flower left on the bench at the start of our stay was homely and appreciated, thank you.
What could be improved: The property is advertised as two bedroom which technically it is, although the second bedroom is a small converted ‘sleep out’ which was extremely cold as there is no heating to this part of the flat. No detergent available for the laundry. In addition to the price deducted by booking.com I was required to give my credit card details to deduct a security deposit. Two weeks after leaving the accommodation I am still waiting for return of the deposit and have received no correspondence from the accommodation regarding its whereabouts, or if there were any issues.
Good
There was no breakfast, but the host and booking agent were both friendly and helpful
What could be improved: Parking was very poor and it was one of my questions in the initial booking.
Very comfortable with great location
The location was very good with bus stands, shopping centre and UWA nearby. The property was clean and well maintained. Overall a very comfortable stay!
