Overview
First Impressions
Walking into 420 Spacious City Sanctuary Poolgym 2×2, you immediately get why couples are drawn to this place. It’s one of those four-star properties that feels more intimate than a massive hotel chain — honestly, the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. The space genuinely lives up to its “spacious” promise, and I mean that in the best way possible when you’re used to cramped city accommodations. From the moment you step through the doors, the thoughtful design and attention to detail become immediately apparent.
Location & Neighborhood
The spot on Hay Street puts you right in the thick of Perth CBD, which is actually perfect if you want to walk everywhere. You’re literally steps from the main shopping strips, and I love that you can grab coffee in the morning without having to plan some elaborate expedition. The couples thing makes total sense here — there’s something about being able to stroll to dinner or catch a show without dealing with transport that just works for romantic getaways. Plus, recent guests keep raving about the location, so you know it’s not just marketing speak. The neighborhood offers endless dining and entertainment options within easy walking distance.
The Space & Amenities
The room setup is where this place really shines, honestly. You get proper space to spread out, which feels like such a treat in the city center. The pool and gym combo is clutch — I mean, how often do you find decent fitness facilities in boutique-style accommodations? There’s something satisfying about being able to do laps or hit the gym without leaving the building, especially when you’re trying to maintain some routine while traveling. The whole setup feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. Every detail has been carefully considered for maximum comfort and convenience.
What Makes It Special
You know what I really appreciate? The property doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s clearly designed with couples in mind, and everything from the layout to the amenities reflects that focus. The “sanctuary” part of the name isn’t just clever marketing — there’s actually a sense of retreat here, even though you’re surrounded by city energy. The fact that it consistently gets high ratings from guests tells you they’re doing something right with the experience, not just the location. This balance between urban accessibility and peaceful retreat is what sets it apart.
Why Guests Love It
The combination of space, location, and thoughtful amenities creates this sweet spot that’s hard to find elsewhere in Perth CBD. Couples especially seem to connect with the vibe here — it’s intimate enough to feel special but practical enough that you’re not sacrificing convenience. When you can walk to everything you want to see and still come back to a place that feels like a proper retreat, well, that’s pretty much the travel sweet spot right there. The property consistently delivers on its promise of being a spacious sanctuary in the heart of the city.

Guest Reviews
Highly recommend for a spacious, comfortable stay in a great location!
The location is great and convenient, easy access to Perth CBD and public transport.
Both rooms and living areas were spacious and comfortable, very clean and tidy.
Instructions for accessing the keys in the lock box were very precise and helpful.
Good location in a nice neighborhood.
It was spacious and well located.
What could be improved: The windows in the bedroom weren’t able to open.
Excellent
Accessible
What could be improved: Should have a photo to where the key location so that it is easy to find it.
Excellent apartment in a well-managed building.
Excellent facilities and suitable location. All the necessary bits and pieces there.
What could be improved: Only minor quibble was delay in final details on the day before. I rang Booking.com to speed things up after the delay.
Superb

Very good
It is spacious and quite complete apartment facilities. Best part is having 2 toilets.
What could be improved: Nothing really.
Appartment welle equiped and well located close to the free Cat bus line (driving to Perth CBD)
We have stayed 2 times in this appartment. This second time, we had no issue to come :o).
The appartment is very well placed.
What could be improved: Our pass card was desactivated 2 nights before we had to leave. Happily, the reception of the hotel (which does not manage this appartment) was kind enough to reactivate the card for us.
It would be great to have a oven pan to heat meals in the oven.
Perth is amazing. Flat well placed.
The flat was well placed and well equiped. 10' by bus from Perth CBD. Close of the Herison island with a reserve of kangoroo :o).
Super market was close to the flat.
What could be improved: The reservation was a mess !!!
The appartment was booked for 3 nights, with a confirmation from BOOKING.
But, as the appartment is managed by another company depending of AirB&B, the reservation was not effective.
Happily that the reception has helped us to contact the owner of the flat.
Nevertheless, we have to find a solution by our own way for the last night, because the appartment was no more available.
Better than expected !
This apartment is so spacious and very well set out.
It is equipped with everything you could possibly need !
I will definitely be back 😊
Delighted to have stayed here.
Spacious , cool clean and very convenient. We felt perfectly at Home a great place to rest up comfortably after a busy day exploring. Easily the best place we have stayed in our last 3 trips to Australia. Would stay again, for sure.
What could be improved: Nothing really, wish we could have stayed longer.
