Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into 152 City Rest With Views High Upparking Sleeps 2, I’ll be honest — the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but the place itself? It actually delivers on those promises. This four-star property sits right on Aberdeen Street in Perth CBD, and you know what struck me immediately? The views they’re advertising aren’t just marketing fluff. From the upper floors, you get these sweeping sights across the city that make you want to grab your coffee and just stand there for a while.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about staying in Perth CBD — location can make or break your trip, and this place nails it. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of everything without feeling like you’re trapped in tourist central. The couples who stay here seem to get it (they rate the location 9.2, which honestly makes sense), because you can walk to King Street for dinner, hit up the cultural precinct, or even stroll down to Elizabeth Quay without breaking a sweat. What really surprised me was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central — Perth CBD has this nice way of winding down after business hours.
The Space Itself
The room setup works well for two people, though don’t expect sprawling suites with premium finishes. It’s more about smart use of space and those promised views. The furnishings feel contemporary without trying too hard, and there’s enough storage that you won’t be living out of your suitcase the whole time. Actually, what I appreciated most was how they’ve set things up so you can actually relax — decent lighting, comfortable seating by the windows, that sort of thing that makes you want to spend time in the space rather than just crash there.
The Parking Situation
Let’s talk about something that’ll save you both money and headaches — the free private parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Perth CBD, you know this is basically gold. I watched other travelers circle blocks looking for street parking or shell out serious cash for commercial lots, while guests here just pull right in. It’s one of those practical perks that doesn’t sound glamorous but makes your whole stay smoother, especially if you’re planning day trips around Western Australia.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating tells part of the story, but here’s what I think really works about this place — it doesn’t oversell itself. You get exactly what’s promised: solid accommodation in an excellent location with genuine city views and hassle-free parking. The recent guests who rated the location 9.3 aren’t wrong; there’s something satisfying about being able to walk everywhere you need to go while still having a peaceful base to return to. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Perth, but for couples wanting to explore the city without the tourist trap pricing, it hits that sweet spot between comfort and practicality.

Guest Reviews
Excellent stay with great location!
We arrived Perth CBD late around 11:30pm and we managed to self collect the key with clear instructions from the host (though I was lost at first with the google maps where it led me to the backstreet of the location). However, we still managed to check-in smoothly and the whole apartment was neat and clean not to mention everything looked new and vibrant. The bed was comfortable and we had some good sleeps during the stay. The water pressure was fine and kitchen was well equipped. We were able to prepare our without much hassles. This was a quiet and serene neighbourhood and it’s very close to IGA market and some the restaurants which opens until 1am.
What could be improved: Well, I couldn’t think of any dislike about this apartment. It’s for sure I will book this apartment again when I am visiting Perth in my future travels.
It was a great place to stay close to city, clean great staff.
The convenience of being close to the city
What could be improved: The bed was a bit low and hard
Excellent stay option in Perth! Highly reccommended!
The location is close to CBD yet just far enough to have the peace and quiet. The place is easy to locate and big enough for two people to stay comfortably. The coffee shop below is an added bonus!
great!
location was brilliant, Sarah and kate were so friendly, quick to respond, and helpful, picking up the keys was easy and very close to multiple train staions, washing machine was great, as well as having the cooking basics (oil, seasoning) were nice.
What could be improved: dropping the keys off was annoying but expected, as were the multiple rules we had to follow; there was also a bit of damage to walls. overall, I'd recommend staying here.
Good short stay.
Great location for our needs.
What could be improved: For us the bed mattress was very hard.
A few of the glasses were not clean.
Nice stay in a good location
Location was great - good views from balcony
What could be improved: Marks on the wall, could be cleaner
Couch was very uncomfortable to sit on
No tissue box in room and only one hand washer towel, no milk in the fridge - just some little items that could be improved
Our stay was most enjoyable and comfortable with good amenities in the unit.
It was easy to find the location for key collection.
What could be improved: It was extremely difficult to open the box containing the keys.
Very good, comfortable, well coming.
Good view. Clean and tidy.
What could be improved: More emphasis in the emails on having to pick a key up from somewhete else as i wasnt driving and used the train thus having to carry my luggage.
Some milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Even a small long life would have been sufficient.
Very good
Very spacious
What could be improved: The shower room, the water always flow outside make the floor wet. Should provide more floor mate. Bedroom should have side table next to the bed. Else no place to put handphone or bag
Would like to see a tv on the wall in the bedroom.
Location was good for the HBF Park where we needed to be.
What could be improved: Not sure what you are informed of but here are afew things you should be aware of: -
- Cordless vaccum didn't run for long when it was already plugged in and sitting on the charger , so not sure if it wasn't properly on so didn't charge
- Bathroom there is fluff on top of the tiles around the bathroom and also in the vent in the shower. I have taken photos if you would like. I would expect there be no fluff in these areas considering we are paying a cleaning fee, so should have been cleaned from previous renters
- Airconditioner had water running down the wall on the day we left. have photos if you want. Wondering if the water condensation is getting out of the system.
